Half in the Bag: Quarantine Catch-up (part 1 of 2)

Stuck inside during a global apocalypse, Mike and Jay decide to discuss some stuff that everyone already talked about months ago. In part 1, they dig into everyone's favorite nightmare meme, Tiger King, as well as The Invisible Man, ironically one of the last big movie to play in theaters before they...disappeared.

Sweet! Thanks for keeping busy RLM

Sunday afternoon upload! Thank you! I mean...generic comment about Rich Evans and some disease.

Nöice!

You guys are such fucking assholes. It's funnier than shit. 🤣

I wish I had done what Mike did, turning Tiger King off after three episodes. I watched it all and absolutely hate myself for giving it that much attention.

Anonymous

Thank you! Watching tiger king stressed me the fuck out. People with too much power scare the shit out of me. I'm still watching the review.

Anonymous

So happy and relieved they are just making fun of Tiger King and more so analyzing the weird reaction to it than the show itself because I couldn't handle it if Mike and Jay actually watched the whole thing and liked it.

Santino

I loved Elisabeth Moss in "Mad Men" but then I read that she's a scientologist and now I have a hard time watching anything she does. Glad Beck finally denounced that scary stupid shit.

Thank you!

Beards!

I'm getting Play-Doh Fun Factory vibes from Mike's beard.

I would definitely not pay $20 to rent a movie that has been out for 2 months already. New release? Yes. A movie that is basically a few weeks away from coming out on Blu-Ray/physical media/streaming anyway? No way.

Anonymous

Yaaay, just what the doctor ordered, more Tiger King attention 😍😄

Juan Calvo

The Truman Show display confirmed for the Oscars.

There are two shots in 'tiger king' that are extemely chilling. Shit ALMOST goes bad really quick, and sometimes luck makes for great shots. But it's unsettling to see that no one steps in to help.

Anonymous

Anyone see the 13 Hour movie Too Old To Die Young....it’s phenomenal.

Hideo Kojim//James Urbaniak//Jena Malone//John Hawkes and Miles Teller. Surreal Fantasy Crime almost in the same vein as Twin Peaks (Horror Suspense if you live in Hollywood) like an aged scotch or a wine fit for the pope (black books reference)

DonMac

Wow, I'm surprised Mike bailed on "Tiger King" - yeah, it's about terrible people but it's extremely engrossing too.

AllGoodNamesRGone

Going to finish watching at work, but just listening to your thoughts on Tiger King... you guys nailed it. Why are these people becoming memes? You feel dirty watching it.

Anonymous

Can we not with the preachy social commentary? I enjoy what you guys do but that part is off-putting ,I avoid Twitter for a reason. The rest is still A+.

Anonymous

I'm enjoying Mike's visual deterioration into a Midwestern Dan Harmon.

Mike St Louis

Thanks for the heads up about Tiger King. I’ll give you $50 for 2 rolls of TP. Looks like you’re well stocked.

Aaron11011

Cgi troll for president.. oh wait..

Katy

I really appreciate Mike’s dedication to The Method. You can smell the despair, and that grizzled stubble is magnificent.

MeleeDuck

I really appreciate Jay neglecting his grooming and slowly turning into someone from gleason

Dane Liergaard

Glad you ended up reviewing Invisible Man, thought I saw something that made it seem like you were going to gloss over it, but it was a damn quality movie.

Quibi? Aren’t those Lemro’s space bucks??

Marvin Falz

And you know what that means! I'll be lazing on a sunday, lazing on a sunday, lazing on a sunday afternoon. *guitar solo*

Marvin Falz

What I gather from your review on Invisible Man, it is a movie without an agenda to show that men are dirt and women are godesses or whatever, and male abuse of females exists, and should be called out, just as it should be the other way around, because female abuse of males also exists.

Anonymous

Brilliant stuff guys great entertainment... Time to review the original omega man btw

Anonymous

Thanks for your comments on this "SJW propaganda" stuff in the video.

Jessie Zimmer

Yeah, I appreciated that even though Jay watched it all, he also was like, "but they're fucking terrible". Because they are.

Jessie Zimmer

I assumed a good 75% of their Patreon pay went straight to Jay's hair already.

AllGoodNamesRGone

Amazing how if Jay grows out his beard and doesn't use hair gel he looks like he could be starring as Jack Torrance in the Shining.

AllGoodNamesRGone

My takeaway was you don't need to be heavy handed with messages in a movie. In fact, being too heavy handed can turn audiences off.

Bort Ward

A bit hypocritical to see them make fun of celebs living a life of excess while they have medical-grade chicken wire and ultra-thin toilet paper.

David Perek

Mike is getting psyched up and in character for Plinkett.

Anonymous

Happy 4/20 MF. As Plinkett gets a 3:16 right over that barricade

Anonymous

Do you think they are going to read this and do what you want? Or are you just lashing out for catharsis?

Anonymous

Literally watched 90 Day Fiancé and at night watched Freddy Got Fingered the day before this video was released.

Vorevids.com

The Tiger King IS the Invisible Man! Minds blown! Rich and Jack looking confused. Mike and Jay are like "uh..yah..whatever"

Anonymous

Is Rich Evans ok? He hasn't been in the last few videos. Is he fighting off the Wu Flu? Or has he simply retreated to his multi-million dollar mansion so he can make "celebrity isolation videos"?

Anonymous

Would it offend anyone to know that it was just this past week I finally figured out the hell all this Tiger King hype was about? Guess I've just been slacking on the latest trends...thank God.
