This gives me hope we get another Fuck You, It’s January

Lauren R

Yeah I see you there sneaking in the Harland Williams "Rocketman" poster.

Brian McKeon

I saw The Monkees and I CLAPPED!!!

Re: Pet Semetary, THANK YOU. When that trailer dropped at the beginning of the year, I saw a lot of BS twitter comments about how killing the daughter is more interesting, when in fact it is the most uninspired thing you could possibly do for this story. Little evil dead girl, how completely original for the horror genre in 2019. As a fan of the book and original movie, I actually have been wanting them to remake the movie for years now, but it was awful and a waste of John Lithgow.

Yeah, it was slow, boring, and wasted all its best ideas.

Man, I love RLM Sunday night uploads! It's going to be a great week.

The only one of these I've watched is John Wick. I'm definitely adding Dolemite Is My Name to my list!

Anonymous

Love this. Mike can’t be 55 years old though.

Interesting talk there about movie speedup. In Europe we've had 4% faster movies on TV and video for many years because of the conversion of 24fps NTSC to 25fps PAL (done without any pitch correction). This ended only when HD encoding became a thing.

YAY, Climax was great! I wanted to kill myself at 1.5x!

Marvin Falz

I didn't watch Bohemian Rhapsody either, solely because I loved to listen to Queen all the time and played their music on keyboard, even won 3rd place in a music contest with the Bohemian Rhapsody, and so I don't want that movie to be like the prequels to a Star Wars fan.

AllGoodNamesRGone

I enjoyed this episode. They recommended some films I should check out and some great lines from Mike and Jay. Stay warm, RLM!

Love these “movies of the past year” discussions. They make a lot of sense for films that warrant a 8-10 minute discussion instead of a whole HITB episode. It’s great that the guys give equal opportunity to material that falls outside the action/horror/sci-fi genres. Had not planned on seeing Rocketman, but Mike’s review changed my mind. And Dolemite is on my list now too!

My favorite RLM recommendation this year was Petey Wheatstraw. Have a great holiday season, guys!

Harry P. Ness

I went to a The Room screening in Royal Oak, MI and it was exactly like Jay described it

Why are they saying nobody wants to see Star Wars?

Peter L

ALSO: Thank you for validation on the pronunciation of “biopic”. “Bio-pic” has always sounded wrong to me, but I just accepted it after hearing it pronounced that way for years...

Anonymous

Great one! Thanks guys

Anonymous

Maybe they are sick of talking about it but know it's too important to their brand to completely ignore? Like when a band has to play the hits for the 10,000th time even though deep down they might want to play the new stuff?

Climax was the first Gaspar Noe film I’ve watched, and did not give me any desire to see any more, just too much of a headfuck. But the music was freaking great, I immediately downloaded the main title theme too

Watch Enter the Void to experience an authentic headfuck

Nice!=)

Isn't John Wick 3 called 'Parabellum'?

Anonymous

It's officially called "Chapter 3 - Parabellum" so it has the movie number and the sub-title both in the main title of the film! A rarity. Haha.

Manuel Johnen

Gaspar Noé...? More like "Gaspar No, eh!", amirite...? :D

I need part 2!
