Oh a vimeo video, nice! Maybe this means RLM is considering putting content into youtube alternatives? I'm sure I'm reading way too much into it, but regardless I should start a rumor on reddit about it :P

Testing out Vimeo, are we? Looking to transition to Vimeo? Or keeping that as an option in case YouTube decides to just be a jerk from now on?

As someone who works at Vimeo: yay!

zezibesh

Well, you can make videos patreon only easier on vimeo.

NF

could you post a link and password instead of embed?

Jay, Super Troopers 2 made 30 mil and they raised like 4.6mil so yeah, people cared.

FYI if you are looking to transition paid content you might wanna check out www.floatplane.com. It's a sort of video Patreon service started by some guys from Linus Tech Tips in frustration over the poor monetization options and video quality on offer from YouTube. You can naturally use YouTube as well to overlap some of the content or just keep splitting it as you do now. The benefit with Floatplane is that the videos stay accessible in a meaningful way. For instance I would love to check out some of your older behind the scenes videos from before I became a Patreon, but it takes a lot of time when they are buried between old messages to the community. It also doesn't help that Patreon only loads some 20-40 messages at a time when you wan't to go further back in the history.

Is super troopers a white trash movie? I always thought of it more as a stoner college kid movie

Anonymous

It's definitely more of a stoner college kid movie. I get the sense that Mike didn't actually see the first one. That doesn't change the fact that this outtake video is quality. I can't believe they cut the lines about "the world is changing" from the Godzilla trailer. "You little Milwaukee hasbeens" is solid gold and would have been the next RLM meme. Oh…that's why it was cut.

"Sorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here." http://prntscr.com/kh0lrm Can you post the URL for the video in the comments? Then maybe I could get it to play by clicking on that

So did you guys just purposefully try to get everything wrong about Super Troopers 2? Because their whole thing was they bothered to make sure people who backed their movie got tickets to see the movie. And also the movie made 30 million dollars domestically. ... Oh who gives a shit, the movie was just kind of okay.

Anonymous

I gave them money and got lots of swag. Oh an free movie tickets. So. Yeah. I give you hack frauds money every month and still had to pay for space cop.
