These are my final ones, for personal reasons I don't feel comfortable continuing them. As always, they were very fun to work on though! Like Helluva Boss, I think Hazbin is a very interesting concept series, but in execution its very messy. Redesigns are always fun though, I think reading up on the lore and coming up with my own reinterpretations is really fine design and writing practice.

For Angel, I felt like splitting up the design rather than sticking to one "Sexy mafia" look, since i felt like he wouldn't want to risk getting his clothes dirty while committing crimes and being thrown around. So the left side has his more intimidating (but still very c*nty) mafia look, vs his right side, which is his "performer" design. You may noticed I went back to the spike hair vs the curly haired one. I felt like the latter was more period accurate, but it didn't match his edgier persona, he also likely would want to have a wig that better represents him. Tried to make the design more femme by adding some make up because honestly one of my biggest design critiques was that angel dust never looked like a woman to me despite the constant jokes about it. he just had eyeshadow and some boobs.

Nifty was a request made by a very talented artist and honestly I've been tempted to rework her for a while because I was devastated (not really) when I heard she was meant to be bug-like. Originally I wanted her bald, but I kept the hair to stay in line with the character. Gave her more buggy attributes like an antennae, thats shaped in a way to represent big hair, as well as wings that she hides to look cuter, but pops up when she's excited. Didn't have much on the alien motif outside of the whole "pretending to be something that she's not" and her big eyes, but it's a bit hard to pin down the 80s alien look considering aliens can look well. anything. Honestly I like Nifty, she's a weird little freak.
