In my opinion as an "Anime only" watchers too, The 'God' they spoke about is in the Nox side (The creature who come up and thrust the sword down to earth). So Park Mujin agenda to search for the 'Key' is to used it to kill/destroy the God which is Nox. And Nox agenda to search for the 'Key' is to completely destroy it, so nobody could ever destroying the God ever (which is Nox). And Jin Mori power is a wild card that no sides know who or what he is at the moment, but from the shilouette it clearly shown that Mori's power is of that Monkey King Sun Wukong, which is notorious for being the enemy of Gods & Goddesses.

Allona, I'm a fan of mythology from all different cultures and I was wondering something until another reactor to this episode confirmed it as a mythology buff as well. There's already been so many hints at him being a monkey/monkey themes in general. Also, who would God need defending from? Why does he need a guardian? And who the hell just wooped the nine-tails ass after we were JUST told they were the guardian of God himself and destroyed half of Heaven?? Well, in Chinese mythology, Sun Wukong - The Monkey King, is infamous as an extremely capable fighter who can learn/mimic his enemies abilities who also fights with a staff and kicks. (I think you missed Mori's invisible staff) Wukong was known to be a skilled enough fighter to defeat even the best warriors in Heaven. Plus the whole silhouette and bracelet/what we saw visually of the arm, is very consistent with typical representations of him. So yea, hype as fuck. :3 P.S. As the above comment said, pretty sure Park and his crew are looking for the "weapon/power" (the Key/Nine-tails) to destroy THE "God" and Nox who follow this one true God and denounce any others, are looking for the Nine-tails to finish it off, making sure there are no threats to their God anymore. I am curious though since "God" needed a guardian to guard him from SOMETHING, if the theory I stated is true that it is Wukong and he's BEEN a threat/problem for Heaven/God, then why did Nox leader dude and Park seem so confused/unaware of the energy? Even though they're obviously familiar with God/Nine-tails and that whole story. Sorry for the long comment, this anime is quickly becoming a fav and you're my fav reactor so I got tons to say xD

Great reaction. But I highly suggest you to read the webtoon after the season ended. (Read from the beginning too) because the studio changed a lot of stuff and it is 10 times way more epic in the webtoon on most parts.

I think Mori's Charyeok is the Monkey King. Would not be surprised at all.
