GOOD MORNING!!!

This movie was such a fun watch. It was very nostalgic to go back to before the time skip and seeing the Merry. *tear* I am so used to current OP that it took a moment to realize that this movie had to have been made before her funeral. *BIGGER TEARS* I would Rank this movie tied 3rd with Strong World. 2nd place is Stampede. While first is still Film Z. I actually really enjoyed this art style too. Though sometimes it was a bit weird in some scenes, since I am used to current animation, I really did appreciate and enjoy it.

I would say my favorite part had to have been when Luffy did the Mustache Salute. That made me so flipping happy..lol

What were some of your favorite moments? And how would you guys rank this movie among the other OP Movies?

If you haven't watched the other OP movie reactions they are all located under the ONE PIECE MOVIE tag.

Loved the reaction, This is definitely one of my top 5 for the OP movies. A little fun fact, when Luffy punched the Baron and the screen goes black and white, that is where the animation team who did Saobody got the idea to do the same thing when Luffy punched the celestial dragon. Can't wait to see if you do any more of the movies.

What a nice Sunday treat! I loved this movie so much. The mood and vibe of this particular movie just hits different. The art style combined with the story gives it a more darker feeling. Not to mention it also has one of my favorite OSTs that they only used once in the series. (When rescuing Robin from Enies Lobby) Definitely about to check out this reaction! <3

This movie is one of the greats. Before Oda started contributing to the movies with his own plots, before Sabaody and Marineford and Impel Down and Enies Lobby and all those emotional One Piece moments, there was Movie 6. It just was made different, y'know. This here movie is what we had. The story hits you hard, right in your core, while the animation gives One Piece such a different vibe. Now, I love the more recent movies for sure, but f' it man, I want to see them create something parallel to this. The closest is Film Gold (which has the same director), which also happens to be another my favorites.

By the way, here's the quick run down of all the movies. The "Nostalgia" tier: Movie's 1, 2, 3 - Only worth watching if you're REALLY into One Piece. The first two are even pre-Grand Line. Only worth it if early One Piece holds a special place in your heart. The "Actually Good" tier: Movie's 4, 5, 6 - These are the 3 I always recommend because they are seriously the best, or were at one point (until you get to the more recent films). 4 and 6 especially. 5 isn't quite up to their level in my opinion, but it's still solid. The "Recap" tier: Movie's 7, 8, 9 - Also know as the 'steer clear' category. They're basically retelling One Piece arcs in a condensed movie format that can't hold a handle to the real thing. 7 doesn't actually re-tell anything (it's a wholly original movie), but it's nothing special or memorable. Movie 11: We don't talk about movie 11. It does not count. The "Oda" tier: Movies 10, 12, 13, 14 - Basically all the movies that were personally written by Oda or heavily involved him. Also known as the ones you've seen already. If there are ever any more One Piece movies, they most assuredly will fall under this tier.
