So much excitement for her to read the manga that covered the content she's already seen. Is there some other purpose besides how much was added in the anime? Was there dialogue missed or is it simply the atmosphere of how much weaker Luffy is to Kaido? Never read the manga but I've read enough comments to know that the anime added a lot of pointless punches in the fight.

Yes read the manga! Wano to the point you are is from chapter 909 to 923 FYI. 14 chapters, it takes me around 8 minutes to read 1 chapter so about 112 minutes for all of it, or around 2 hours. Way better pace, it fly by super fast, nothing drags, nothing is misrepresented, perfect, just as Oda intended.

Heck yeah!! It's hype as hell. you can do the manga from the beginning of the wano arc. I'm currently at 959, and have saved up a few.

After I catch up to the chapters I am at currently then after the reaction going further I plan to watch the corresponding chapters to the episodes.

You should catch up to current and let us know how you feel about the adaptations. It would be a nice change of pace for just this one anime. You could do anime only for other shows.
