Dear Patrons! This text I will publish soon on my Instagram but I am happy to give you the early access. Please share in comments your thoughts about this experiment💕

Recently in my stories, we discussed the wrong marketing for courses. In a couple of words, you can find many courses that promise you to become a super-mega-giga -professional in a couple of months and unfortunately, it's impossible.

But today I want to share with you how I would choose the course if I need it. And I hope these tips will be useful for you as well.

1) Buy a course in a calm mood. You shouldn't be in a rush, ignore all aggressive ads. If you can't buy it right now or worry that the sale will disappear, DONT WORRY! Because mostly big schools that produce content have sales regularly - at the beginning of the course, on holidays (New Year, Black Friday, begining of the school year) and even every new season. It helps you to make a right decision and avoid of wasting your money.

2) Check the curriculum. You have to be sure that mostly topics in the course cover exactly what you need. If it's too much common stuff you definitely have to search for another more specific class. If you're a beginner and looking for the full pack - try to choose the direction (2d, 3d, character animation, frame by frame or something else) and then find a course. It's awesome to take a huge long-term course where you will try as many things as you can, but unfortunately, you will know many things but not super deep. And also it takes too much time. But if you have time and money, why not?

3) Feedback and rating of the teacher. Yeah, I know, it's pretty obvious and I don't recommend checking feedbacks on the official website. There obviously will be only positive feedbacks. Try to search student works by hashtags in Instagram, for example. It will give you a view of the skills level. And of course you can compare past works with these new ones from the course. And see the progress.

4) Check out the free lessons if it's possible. If you like how it looks, sounds, and in general how the information is explained - it's a good sign

5) And the last one - don't trust ads, trust facts. I would say that it's better to concentrate on the practical promises than more abstract (about your perfect job, you learn everything in 2 months and etc)

These were my tips on how I try to buy courses. Yeah, it doesn't guarantee that you won't make a mistake but at least it decreases these chances. And of course, buy any class only when you WANT and CAN study. Honestly even I don't follow this piece of advice sometimes hahah

Now I will be happy to read in comments your tips, how you choose the design courses. So please share in the comments.

Make peace!✨🤘🏻
