It was such a long time I hadn't driven my Seven I almost forgot how well it performs compared with my everyday drive, the 1992 NA MX5 Miata.
I took the Caterham for a spin on Friday night and it is much more frantic, so you really have to pay attention to what you're doing all the time.
Both cars have a 1.6 litre engine with about the same horsepower figure, but the Seven weights 400 kilos less than the Miata, that's like putting 5 passenger (80 kilos each) inside the car with Martina.
And this is unthinkable, first because there is only one seat available, and secondly because I want to be the only other person in that car with her!

The new "auto everything" modern Sigma 35mm lens has finally arrived, the f2 contemporary DG DN model, it is going to work mainly on the Panasonic Lumix S1 and make it a proper videocamera.
Not the most glamorous lens I've ever bought, in my book, but this state of the art technological combination should handle well both the backstage and the slo-mo videos in the future.
I wanted to make a quick test slo-mo video of one of the spinning rear wheels of the Seven on Friday, but didn't have the time or the right tripod to do a proper job, and you would not be interested in such a video anyway...

But I bet you would love to see an on the road video of me and Martina riding around an Alpine mountain pass, if she was naked all the time, and we were stopping to take some pictures in the best scenic spots on our way.
Sure enough, somebody would stop us from doing that in the real world, but at least we can make this trip with our fantasy!
