Nearly all the first shooting with Katya was done on July 2017 was shot on the Leica M240 with the 50mm Summicron.
This is still one of the best pieces of gear I ever worked with, even if lately I decided to explore more "focused" cameras and longer lenses.
Although it is a good thing to evolve and progress in our passions, when I get back to these first pictures with the Leica M I'm amazed how pure and balanced they look.
I would say my evolution was not a vertical progression towards new peaks of excellence, but more an horizontal exploration of the various potentials of digital photography, builded on a solid experience of analog photography and BW darkroom techniques.
Luckily, most of my work for the Bramley Apple project is still relevant and will maintain this same level of charm forever: this is the power of nude photography.
