Welp...."I'm in Danger," aren't I?  

This episode went off the rails REAL QUICK, as our heroes gallant effort to rescue Griffith is met with success and failure, as things will likely never be as they once were. Meanwhile, Griffith is having some inner thoughts, fates are aligning, and just in time for that one, tiny little moment Zodd warned us about all those episodes ago...Hoo Boy. Two episodes to go...I'm sure our group can turn this all around. *DARK LAUGH*

So, I’m glad I don’t have a danger egg…. Because the next total eclipse for my part of the world is April 8th 2024. Yes, I have my glasses. Still keeping my mouth zipped. I definitely have thoughts on the dream with Casca and other things. Your reaction to the Behelit rearranging itself…🍿😅. That is horror on a cosmic scale!

The castle is just a representation of Griffith's dream to become king. Similar to if a person was envisioning the white house (become president). You got the gist of it. Griffith's ambition had still not crumbled. It still smoldered in his heart. He made one final push before he started laughing at himself about how pathetic his final attempt toward his dream was. The vision he had about Casca was a "nightmare". It's what his life would become without his dream. Just a humble life living with Casca. Griffith would rather end his own life instead of allowing that future to come true. I believe the behelit was a representation of his ambition in that scene with the spoon. That is an interesting thought about how Griffith was envisioning Casca vs Guts. I think Griffith just expects Casca to become whatever he needs. And I would say he is not wrong about that. Yes, I can see that -- although -- becoming president of the U.S. *dark chuckle* anyone can literally do that now if you're old enough. But enough of THAT discussion! ;) It's so sad seeing how sad Griffith's state had deteriorated while he tried to hang on -- I really like that description of Casca and Griffith, though, I believe by the end of the vision that Griffith THINKS Casca would still become his house wife if needed, when we the audience can see her gears shifting more towards Guts than before.
