**EXPOSITION BOMB HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

Not going to lie...my brain is fried after these chapters. Romania.exe is going to need to reset after reading all this madness as out of nowhere, MXTX decides NOW IS THE TIME to learn the lore surrounding Jun Wu, The Guoshi of Xianle, and the three other Guoshi...leading to all sorts of horrors being unravelled!  

And it's not over yet as we get a cliffhanger just in time for my brain to take a breather. Apologies if this discussion is ALL OVER THE PLACE...I'll gather myself for the next set. OH, and Manhua Chapter 101 is here! Huzzah!

Quan Yizhen's no good, very bad week 😅 Honestly giving me Jujutsu Kaisen vibes for the timing of all these events. I'm so sorry though that the spoilers are stopping you from feeling comfortable being on Discord. But if this helps keep you from being spoiled I'd rather you not be present in the channel so as you can keep getting enjoyment from this series. Also gotta say, it's a good thing you do have Mods now. I haven't seen it on your page yet, but a couple of other reactors I watch I have seen a few comments on reactions for an entirely different show that are spoilers for another show. If that was me I'd give such commenters one warning, and then hide them from the channel (but I don't know if that means you are blocked from seeing their posts, or they are blocked from even making a comment). Could be a good idea for YT to enable content creators to block specific users from even watching their content. Ling Wen is just frozen there, unable to speak it move, whilst Hua Cheng tries to make Xie Lian realise why his usual method of self-harm/self-sacrifice is no good. Also Hua Cheng's go-to method of making everyone and anyone a daruma doll is hilarious. He wants them portable, silent, and immobile, yet also quirky and full of personality (such as making Qi Rong's stuck out his tongue, or Ling Wen's holding a bunch of scrolls) 🤣 Mei Nianqing has a serious gambling problem 🤦🏻‍♀ Bet you didn't expect that reveal to come back from the first flashback, and especially not during a chapter that has such a sweet fluffy title like 100 Years of Pain, 1000 Years of Suffering 😅 Xie Lian looking to Hua Cheng for comfort and the latter automatically going to him and silently providing that comfort to him just from sitting next to him is adorable 🥺 But does this mean that Hua Cheng is Xie Lian's comfort character? 🤭 The mirroring of the Xianle and Wuyong really makes Guoshi's tale all the more emotional. But it does give you a better understanding for why he tried to teach Xie Lian the way he did, and wanted him not to be involved in the fall of his country. Also, like you said, the fall of Xianle seems tame in comparison to Wuyong; and that's definitely not something you'd ever have thought you'd think when reading the flashbacks of everything Xie Lian went through during the drought and war, as well as the aftermath after he fell. And the question Mei Nianqing posited of Xie Lian, Feng Xin, and Mu Qing way back when they were teenagers (the cup of water) is once again relevant to what happened with Wuyong. The cup of water in this instance being: letting the Wuyong people die, or forcing others to die so that the Wuyong people can live. But Jun Wu, like Xie Lian, believed in a third path where everyone can be saved. When realising this I definitely felt way more for Mei Nianqing throughout Xie Lian's trials and tribulations because it must have been such a reminder of how *his* Crown Prince had been and had tried yet failed 🥺 Mo Xiang Tong Xiu really went "You thought the flashback of Xianle was the worst that the Human Face Disease could be? Alright, bet!" The description of what Mei Nianqing saw is honestly terrifying. So many reveals this chapter set. When Guoshi spills the tea, he really gushes a flood of exposition. I also love the Guoshi's reaction to Xie Lian realising that he was the fortune teller from Shi Qingxuan's story. You'd never have guessed that Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan had this connection, but Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a master at linking up such events and relationships. Also crazy to think that all this time later we're finally getting exposition on Xie Lian and Jun Wu's first meeting after the Yingdu Bridge incident. No worries on talking about any of your theories and me being a naysayer or yeasayer about any of them. That's what the Google document is for 😆 The Wreck-It Ralph comparison is killing me 😆 Now does that make Ban Yue or Shi Qingxuan Princess Vanellope? 😂

Seriously, QYZ has not had a good week! VERY JJK in the vibes…these shows are all aligning in the BEST ways, aren’t they? *scared face* And yes, people putting spoilers for other shows in the comments for shows is a concern, so I’m glad I have BeHappy and Plore SO much! I’m also glad you still have that Google Doc going – the livestream is going to be SO much fun going through that! I love the idea that HC just turns everyone into a portable doll if he gets mad! And for LW to see HC trying to be a supportive, well-meaning BF to XL is something, isn’t it?! And HC just being there, quiet and supportive of his gege is SENDING ME! MNQ and allllll the callbacks is INSANITY! And that the three other guoshi were just “dolls” too is intriguing! The Guoshi had years of tea needing to be spilled and finally just tipped the pot all at once! And how they’ve GOT around and it being like XL is so cool! I love MXTX making allllll the connections, especially at this point in the story! 🙂 It feels so satisfying reading! The Prince of Wu Yong’s backstory is insane and heartbreaking! It does help explain why the Guoshi was so adamant about trying to teach Xie Lian and in addition “course correct” his own errors he felt he made with the Guoshi. It’s crazy to think things were that much worse with Wu Yong, especially with how crazy things had been in the flashbacks we’ve seen! Will say, JW/PoW’s “third cup” was…waaaay bigger and more of a gamble/risk than XL’s – the harder you climb the further you fall, right? Definitely was thinking about that third option with the discussion in these chapters. OOHHHH – I feel the Wind Master would be the better Vanellope! 🙂But if Ban Yue was as well, I would not complain! Thank you so much for the kind words and comment!
