**SUSPICIOUS HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

This volume not giving us any pictures is really starting to grate at me, but at least the manhua hath given us GLORIOUS images of Qi Rong to supplement! What a manhua chapter! Oh my GOSH!  

And this set of chapters...well...let's just say my tinfoil hat theories are on FULL BLAST because the Guoshi of Xianle has shown up, Jun Wu has mysteriously shown up, and things are taking weird detours and SOMETHING SEEMS AMISS! Or maybe MXTX has just conditioned me to think the worst! In any case...something doesn't feel right, y'all...

This part really reminds me of those shounen series where the protagnist group using the power of 'trust/friendship/bond' etc etc to defeat the big bad villian together but here we also add a lot gayness in! XL explaining the trick: we need everyone to hold hands, form a circle and blow into it. Me: so basically like the b-day party where all the kids gather around the table, sing the song together and blow the candles? The guoshi of Xianle, MNQ decided to pop in and join the circle because......dunno, maybe he also want a slice of birthday cake and some chicken soup? The name is actually already unlocked back in book 2 where he predicts baby hong'er being cursed and will bring bad luck to those around him etc etc. And regardless being one of the most mysterious character so far, I can only picture him as those retired neighbours who spent all day and all night playing majong and gossip...... Now that HC and XL are officially together, the ghost king decided to be a 'very bad boy' by throwing their relationship into everyone's face and asking his gege for kissies because he's done so much and deserves a reward! (pouts in calamity) And the funny thing is SQX seems to be interpreting this relationship from a pure angle and become that meme "they seem to be really good friends". And XL and SQX maybe you two need to agree on how you call each other? Either both using family names and make it ol' Xie and ol' Shi, or both stick to titles and be ol' feng(wind) and ol' martial/scrap, now this seem to be a mixture of both.

Oh god I can't imagine the hijinks if Qi Rong was in Rocky Horror 🤣 It's definitely gonna be interesting seeing if the donghua manages to give us gremlin Qi Rong whenever that happens. Hua Cheng's in the background like "My gege got to punch that annoyance, that's good enough for me. And it's not like it's gonna kill-kill Qi Rong 🤷‍♂" I did honestly love when you predicted we wouldn't see Qi Rong again for ages and then the shock of him just randomly popping up again (and again, and again) like a bad penny 😂 I can't remember if it was mentioned in the discord but Book 8's publication date has been pushed back. Now it's no longer being released at the beginning of November but rather the 28th November instead. Just thought I'd update you on it in case you started to worry about not getting your copy next week. Glad I'm not the only one that sees/hears those words and immediately starts singing Lose Yourself by Eminem 😂 Your shock of Guoshi's appearance was perfect! Also loved your annoyance at them teasing us about the Crown Prince of Wuyong's identity. So evil, right? Hua Cheng teasing and being all pouty with Xie Lian to get a kiss from his gege is so adorable. But I always laugh at how oblivious Shi Qingxuan is. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a complete and utter tease, isn't she? But her writing style has the perfect balance of giving you bits of information to keep you hooked and wanting more even as the lack of complete information frustrates you to the point you want to scream into a pillow. The 'Nian' part of Nianqing reminds me very much of the Japanese word "nyan" which means miaow, so I'm glad I'm not the only one to think of cats when I think of the Guoshi of Xianle's name 🤣 I think Miaow Miaow Guoshi is a great way to differentiate him from all the other Guoshi in this story! The moment you said your mind was in the gutter for the first chapter title I immediately thought of a pregnancy test too, so you're not alone! I think because we've just spent an entire volume of seeing Xie Lian down on his luck *before* he even gave away his luck it does make you tense up in anticipation of the other shoe dropping with some part of the plan going awry. Jun Wu causing your trust metre to waiver 😂 It's hard to trust Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's characters outside of the main characters after the Nie Huaisang reveal in Mo Dao Zu Shi. But you'll just have to keep on reading to find out if your feelings are over-exaggerating or not 🤭 The theories document also includes theories you got right (such as "Xuan Ji is going to show up in Mt Tonglu and meet Pei Ming there") and theories you've been sort of right about but wrong reasoning for why it is true (such as "Ming Yi is innocent" [you meant this in the context of He Xuan but *technically* is true as the real Ming Yi was innocent 😆]) Volume 7 gonna get yeeted across the room if you don't get answers soon 🤣

RIGHT?! Give us the Nakama plot and amp up the rainbow flair! :) AHHHHHAHAHAHAHA -- Blowing out the candles!? I LOVE THAT description! Although, Birthday Cake and Chicken Soup is SUCH a weird combo, right?! Sooooo mysterious, Mr. MNQ is so far! I love that HC is pulling all the shenanigans to get XL's affection, now that he knows XL loves him! And YES, throwing their relationship in everyone's faces! "pouts in calamity" is HILARIOUS and I want to use it! And POOR SQX -- "they're really good friends" -- OMG! AHAHAHAA -- I will probably call them the WindMaster out of habit, but if they did Xie and Shi, that'd be fine by me! :) Thank you for the kind words and comment!

Qi Rong in Rocky Horror IS nightmare fuel! I will never complain for him to pop up in this story over and over again! Ahh, that is good to know about Volume 8 – luckily, we won’t be getting to it until around Christmas, so there’s plenty of time for it to show up! But thank you for telling me! Ahhh, YES, Eminem was stuck in my brain; glad I wasn’t the only one thinking it! The TEASING OF THIS VOLUME IS ON HIGH – SO EVIL! I will forgive MXTX because they’re writing is amazing but SERIOUSLY. Screaming into the pillow may end up happening. YES, the Nian made me think Nyan! YES! That was my reasoning! Also, glad I wasn’t the only one with a mind in the gutter! I just love that Sqqlbh314 described HC *pouts in calamity* because it’s so true and poor SQX is just oblivious as XL….*SIGH* I can’t wait to see that theory document by the end of this series! That will be fun to go over in the livestream! 🙂And Seriously, I’ve only ever thrown one book across the room while reading (I chucked The Grapes of Wrath across the room after I finished it), but I hope MXTX doesn’t make this volume the second.
