After months and months of waiting, I finally dive back into this series with FOUR chapters to look at -- these boys -- Yoneda Kou knows how to push my anxiety at their failure to communicate to a MAXIMUM -- but hey, at least SOME semblance of progress....SEEMS to be happening?! Or so we hope?!

There are some manga/manhua/manhwa that I read immediately as they update and there are others that I hold off until there are several chapters that I can binge-read. This manga is definitely one of the latter. The lack of communication is going to keep us being frustrated with these two and want to just lock them in a room together...the issue with that is these two idiots are more likely to just get physical with each other rather than communicate! 🤣 At least Doumeki now has an awareness of Yashiro's impotence issue, so potentially an increment of progress. My guess for the woman is that Doumeki is protecting her from another syndicate or something, or that she's the mistress of a higher-up but in order to protect her from the higher-up's enemies, Doumeki is pretending to be her boyfriend. I definitely think the Celestial Heavenly Maiden tattoo could refer to how Yashiro tried to give Doumeki the chance to return to a life away from the Yakuza, but it was too late because Doumeki had already fallen too hard for Yashiro and so he can never go back.

I definitely think I will binge read in the future! Waiting one chapter at a time is ROUGH! I am glad that Doumeki knows now about Yashiro's impotence so maybe there can be progress with that! I love that interpretation with the tattoo and definitely agree with that meaning behind it! Yashiro's just...ugh...I want to shake him because it's clear Doumeki is not leaving your side, so just accept it and talk it out, dammit! I also like the idea that Doumeki is protecting the woman by pretending to be her boyfriend -- I just hope they haven't "ACTUALLY" done anything, but I feel Yashiro and Doumeki need to talk it out and reveal that they've not been messing around on each other...Yoneda Kou is the only author that can get away with the "miscommunication" trope on my watch because I'm so invested in the story between these two, but DAMN THE ANGST. *sighs* But thank you for the kind words and comment! We can only hope for the best for them now, right? *darkly laughs*
