Blue buddy

This is probably my favorite episode of the series because of the grimmer exploration

David

When Johan is talking to Milos in the apartment and when Milos says 'And my mom will recognise me aswel.' Johans expression going from cheerful and a sweet voice to dead pan, cold stare is amazing. I love Grimmer he's definitely in my tops favourites and seeing him cry and feel the emotions at the end was truly amazing.

This is one of the most disturbing episodes. I remember watching this the first time and it weighed heavily on my thoughts for awhile after seeing. The ending did shine a bit light though I must say.

Not to sound like a Hallmark card but this episode does embody the St. Francis de Asissi quote of: 'All the darkness in the world can't extinguish the light of a single candle'.

Right?! I have so much to say about that line, it will probably spill over into next week's episode discussion! But YES, I LOVE Grimmer so much and seeing him finally cry is just heartbreaking but also beautiful! Thank you for the comment!

YES, it was hard to talk about parts of it in the discussion because it's so heavy and the idea of a child encountering all of this is soooo...disturbing, indeed! But Grimmer and Tenma coming to his rescue was just...it was beautiful! Thank you for the comment!

That quote, Alex! It could apply to a lot of series I'm watching right now, but That does give me some hope that Grimmer reaching Milos at the end will help to extinguish the darkness Johan's actions and what he saw had left in his heart. :3 Thank you for the comment!
