Hey, I love your reactions and excited for the upcoming episodes. I was unable to comment during the last episodes. I am sorry that this comment is very long and not a lot about this episode. These are kind of my thoughts on Geto and Gojo’s, and Gojo and Megumi’s relationship (more like the similarities and connections ): --> The event in episode 5, when I first read it, I thought that the reason that Gojo kind of adopted Megumi was because he reminded him a lot of Geto. Because Megumi and Geto both act a lot mature compare to Gojo and they also tend to put others before themselves. Like Megumi asked if Zenin Clan will be good for Tsumiki and Geto told Yu to bring back sweets because Gojo likes them. And the time when he met Megumi it was the same time when he had a fallout with Geto, so he kind of found a part of Geto in him and didn't want to let that go. One of the first things he says to Megumi is not to be left behind, because that is one of the reasons he lost Geto and he doesn’t want to lose Megumi. I don't mean that he saw Megumi as some kind of replacement or he wasn't doing that out of kindness. I think that these are also some of the reasons. --> You can also see Megumi behaving like he doesn’t care about what Gojo says and that he is always something stupid etc.. But in Season 1, Megumi talks about Yuuji surpassing him and says to him that he is not going to be left behind and that shows that he still remembers everything that he said to him and how important Gojo is to him and remembers everything he says to him. --> This might be a little bit of a reach but I also kind of noticed that “Phone” is also something constant between the two relationships. In Gojo’s past you can see that Gojo and Geto communicate through the phone a lot. Sending picture after winning the fight with Bayer in episode 2, talking in Phone in episode 1, and discussing the background picture in episode 2. In season 1, you can see Megumi talking a lot on the phone with Gojo. The manga starts with Megumi talking to Gojo on the phone, then in the Juju Strolls Megumi says that he looks irritated during Phone Calls because of Gojo. Even the season ends with Megumi talking with Gojo on the phone where he informs that they have a mission. Throughout the series, we can see Megumi always answers when someone asks where Gojo is or what he is doing and I can also see Gojo checking in about others with Megumi, kind of Megumi reporting to him. I also think that they are constantly in contact even if they don't see each other. -->Megumi also sounded like a typical disappointed asian dad when he commented on Gojo’s job, when he said that with his skills that he should be doing something else than being just a teacher. To be honest, I think Megumi adopted Gojo than the other way around. Megumi was taking care of a heartbroken teenager before he even went to a middle school. When Gojo wakes up after the flashback in the manga panel he stands looking at Megumi and smiling at him. I want a Buddy Daddy Version with Geto, Gojo and Baby Megumi where they take have to him after killing Toji. --> People often say that Gojo parallels Megumi while Geto parallels Yuuji, even though it is not obvious on the first look. Obvious one is Geto and Yuuji CE literally comes from swallowing curses. Geto and Yuuji have a death sentence on them while Gojo and Megumi are not able to let them go and try to save them. Geto and Yuuji (Geto, atleast at the start) have a Good morals where they want to save people. They also had that Black and White moral thinking, where they most of the time talk like there is only 2 sides, good and bad. Megumi and Gojo, while believing in good and bad, also have a grey moral and believe that there is a lot of spectrum between good and bad. They consider themselves to be in the grey area, have no problem staying there, don't actively try to be a good person and follows or only does the things that they considered to be in thier good conscience. White Geto and Yuuji see themselves and strive to be Good People or what they consider to be good. This is already long, so I am gonna stop here. I am sorry if these were mentioned and I have forgotten.

Gojo is the definition of "it's lonely at the top" which is showcased with the beginning of the episode, and that's so sad just overall, we are like 3 episodes into the shibuya arc or if we don't count the mechamaru fight, only two...what is even going to happen next? this is stress inducing haha

I was so impressed with how you pretty much nailed, exactly, what happened to Geto and why he is still around after 2017. The path of arrival at that thought was perfect starting with small details and weighing them against one another to build plausible directions it could come from.
