These chapters have been truly sad and tragic, but with Xie Lian captured by the Supreme Ghost...what does this creepy being have in store for XL? What does he know about the guoshi? Why does MXTX want me to cry while not answering my questions?!

Thank you for the reaction! BWX is one of the scariest villains I've ever seen, he's physically powerful but also aimed at one's mental state, and XL is constantly on the edge of a total breakdown…… We know from 800 years later than eventually FX also left XL and his parents died someday in the future, likely because of illness as the king was already this sick and the queen was also under great pressure, so it's not the final blow yet for our beloved cinnamon roll, and BWX's word "no one will be with you forever except me" were, although creepy and yandere, mostly true. Thank godness BWX didn't seem to have harmed little ghost fire HC but this horrifying monster is curious about him and asking his name, and honestly I don't know which is worse. ghostfire!HC is getting stronger and gathering his first bunch of minions! And he even managed to learn how to emit heat as a supposedly always cold ghost fire only because last time drunken XL was feeling cold and he cannot help him......

Thank you for the kind words and comment! I agree, BWX is seriously scary and sinister, but does so in a way that makes you question what his motives are and why go to these lengths? I can’t wait to find out more about them! And our little ghost fire HC getting stronger! I feel for him, wanting to help XL but not being able to! It makes so much sense why he is the way he is right now!

Finally have time to sit down and watch/listen to this! 🥳 Firstly, that top is gorgeous and looks great on you! The little ghost fire standing up for Xie Lian 🥺🥰 He's the little ghost fire that could! When he failed to protect/help Xie Lian in the previous chapter set he went and gathered himself a little army to try to help. It's too precious. And shows so much devotion. Just Xie Lian's always unaware of it! 😭 Mu Qing taking meaning from Xie Lian chasing him off with a broom, only it was just the first item to hand and they've now pawned all the swords Xie Lian typically would have used in such a situation 🥺😭 Xianle trio just *love* to make us hurt. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu definitely makes you feel for all three parties. My heart hurts so bad for Xie Lian seeing all those things and looking like he's losing his mind to his family. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu can even make your heart hurt for a little ball of ghost fire that just wants to help 😭 Also showing yet another instance that Hua Cheng put Xie Lian's wishes/wants first. The end of Chapter 189 is very reminiscent of the end of some horror movies that make you invested with wanting a sequel 😅 Romania: What the heck is Bai Wuxiang? Um, terrifying? 😅 Bai Wuxiang definitely wins the award for creepiest villain, right? Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's ability to make the reader feel so much dread from his random sudden appearances is off the charts. Your comment about Hua Cheng as a ghost fire reminding you of Calcifer did make me imagine him telling Bai Wuxiang (or Feng Xin or Mu Qing) "May all your bacon burn!" 🤣 Nice bit of levity with how hard these chapters are. I think because Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is able to create characters with relatable qualities to them (both negative and positive) is part of why this can cause readers to have such an emotive response to it.

And yes, of COURSE XL is unaware of his devotion...*BIG SIGH* MXTX just making the tension and angst with our trio from Xianle PALPABLE! And for XL to be slowly losing his mind?! OMG. It's heartbreaking! BWX is literal DREAD, that we can agree on, right?! And yes, HC would make BWX's bacon burn! :P I just can't wait to see what's next...but I'm also TERRIFIED.
