**CALCULATED HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

We finally get to the bottom of "The Beast" of Gevaudan, but it's much more layered than we once believed, and MUCH more tragic, as we learn the backstory of Jean-Jaques and his love for Chloe -- I just want these two beans to make it out happily!

But that doesn't seem likely, as Vanitas and Jeanne arrive on the scene, along with Astolfo, and Naenia seems to be leading Chloe to take some VERY drastic steps with the Alteration Engine -- but nothing is what it seems!

2023-08-11 16:58:27 Great reaction and discussion!! This episode was sooo good! When I fist watched it, I didn't expect that plot-twist at all! People really need to stop drugging Noe. First Ruthven, now Jean-Jacques, I swear to god my boy can't catch a break XD CloexJean-Jacques are soo adorable of a ship! I feel so sad for them. Its so sad that Jean-Jacques accepted the curse because he wanted to protect Cloe. Neania is really a such a cunning manipulator. A gaslighted of the highest order. I hate that she used JJ's love for Cloe against him :( Poor Jean-Jacques :((( He had such a difficult childhood. I'm really glad he found Cloe. I would soo punch his father in his bastard face. The first time JJ transformed was animated sooo well!! It was so sad and epic at the same time!! Joanne looked soo cool!! Noe's powers are so devastating to him. I loved how they were illustrated here, like he is deep in the red water, literally drowning in JJ's pain and memories. He lives through the memories... Not gonna lie, JJ forcing Noe to drink his blood even as Noe was refusing really made me angry at JJ. He really made Noe suffer and I. Disliked that >:( My theory why Cloe didn't age! Not spoilers but if you prefer not to read it, skip this last paragraph! | | | | \/ Yeah, I think its because she wasn't born as a vampire, she was CHANGED into one. So it was an unnatural occurrence, because we can assume that vampires age to the certain point, like we seen Noe and Domi do and then their aging slows down significantly an they live very young. Maybe it depends on how powerful they are, like it often is in fantasy stories! I think it also has to do with the fact that the whole babel thing interfered with World Formula so it changed the "code" so to speak, of living beings. Made them play on different rules than the rest of the world. Made them something that doesn't play by the rules established by this world and vampires born in this world are born with slight changes but still belong in that world. But now I wonder if there is more vampires like Cloe, who changed from humans into vampires as children and still have children's bodies!

Poor Noe, RIGHT?! People need to leave him ALONE. Please! I LOVE Chloe and Jean-Jacques as a whip! They are so tragic and Naenia is just gaslighting HARDCORE. I hate that JJ was used and Chloe didn't even realize it at first! And yes, JJ just wanting to keep her safe! :( UGH. Joanee looked AMAZING with long hair and the black? It fits so well, but the short hair and white definitely suit her personality more. Yeah, I get WHY JJ wanted Noe to know about him and Chloe, because he thinks they may die and wants their memories to live on, but FORCING Noe to do that was hard to watch. :( I agree! That theory with Chloe makes a LOT of sense -- I can definitely see that! Thanks for sharing that; I'll have to bring it up in a future episode! I appreciate it and the kind words and comment! :D
