I wasn't sure what to expect with thees "Drama Theater" audio dramas, but this first one was SO. MUCH. FUN. Set before the Inter-High competition, we get our crew at Seiren going to an amusement park and meeting up with some unlikely, but familiar, faces -- and CHAOS ensues! I was so happy with this one! Pretty sure "Mama-san volleyball" is older women playing volleyball, going by Hinata's training montage in Haikyuu!! 🤣 I now need fanart of Kuroko flamenco dancing... Kagami's wondering why Kise's gotta join them and be a third wheel on their date 😂 Kuroko teaching Kagami how to win at crane games is the cutest! I'm honestly usually rubbish at crane games but I won quite a few things in Japan. Though potentially being in the wheelchair helped me for judging better. Kagami wants to keep the tiger as a commemoration of his date with Kuroko, Romania! Of course he can't give it away 😂 It doesn't take much for Kagami to get riled up, and Kuroko knows the exact buttons to push. Your disappointment at Izuki being with Riko and Hyuuga was hilarious! 🤣 Kagami failing with the pun! Kise being happy at his pun getting a pass, but it was against Kagami who failed. I think it's all the more hilarious because of all people it's Midorima coming off with something like that. I love that Kagami is suspicious of Kise and Kuroko just wanting to ride the rollercoaster, but just with a few words from Kuroko he immediately accepts that they aren't just playing around. Midorima I feel like would have a lot of great scary stories because of his life being at risk. He definitely had Kagami creeped out. But I couldn't take it seriously because of a radio show I've heard from Ono Daisuke and Kamiya Hiroshi 🤣 It's a great insight into Kagami's character that he's not one for scary things. It's so cute. I honestly love the way they all tell the stories...it's a similar voice I put on when telling scary stories or re-enacting moments from horror movies. The moment the guy covered the well that reminded me so much of The Ring. And then Mitobe, through Koganei, telling them to be careful...he's like a Mum figure for them 🥺 I need Seirin in Sailor Scout costumes!!! With random mecha. Those edits from Truck were amazing. Riko is *definitely* Tuxedo Coach! But I love it's all inside Koganei's head. We called it the teacups ride and it was one of the few my Mum would ride when we went to the amusements. Midorima's secretly a softy. Poor Kagami; he really tried to help. Kuroko, you're breaking the fourth wall by pointing out that there's a pattern. And then Kawahara, Fukuda, and Furihata just trying to make even the listeners feel bad if they can't remember them 🤣 I had the same question as you on how Kuroko managed to get to the finals too. Midorima and Kagami are just way too competitive. And then Kuroko's just as out there as Koganei with his wild imagination. I love out of all of them Kise is the most down-to-earth. I did laugh at you trying to make their positions relate to the end of Last Game. But them all gathering together to try to defeat the sumo wrestler together definitely felt like the founding of the Fellowship! 😂 I just had a feeling the sumo prize was gonna be protein powder. Our poor Seirin boys! For amusement parks I can do most rides just not the really high ones that suddenly drop. And some rollercoaster rides I'm not allowed to ride because of medical conditions, and then other rides because I'm too short...but the latter does mean I can get into some soft play areas 🤣 I'm definitely like you that I prefer the spinning rides, though.

Even tho this audio drama was published before the Izuki audio drama in s2. I like to believe that these events happened before that. Because in Izuki's audio drama they tried to teach puns to Midorima, and in this one Midorima knew how to use puns. So it would make sense for it to happen before this. If I remember right, this audio drama was released about one week before the anime started airing. I think that I once saw someone make a fan animation of the superhero part of this audio drama. I'll share it in discord If I find it again. The sumo match made me feel so conflicted between "I wish I had visuals" and "maybe it's better I don't have to see it" Also Midotaka WILL have kids. They will kidn-- they'll adopt that child from the tenth-anniversary drama.

Oh wow, really?! This would have been so crazy to watch before the anime even BEGAN, but I like your show order, there! That makes sense! Oohhh, yes, if you find that fan animation, that would be AMAZING! I agree -- while parts of this would have been cool with visuals, this is one audio drama where imagining it is still so much fun! <3 I love it! And I about DIED laughing at your last line! Yes, kidn-- adopt all the kids! :P If they took in that kid from the 10th anniversary drama, I wouldn't complain! Thank you so much for the comment!

Oohhhh, that makes sense! And the HQ connection! Thank you for that; I think of Way of the Househusband, too, because I think they play that at some point, now that I’m thinking about it! I want dancer AU KNB for sure, now! And Kuroko teaching Kagami the crane game is ADORABLE! I’m pretty bad at them, but I’m glad you won in Japan! And ooohhhhh, Kagami keeping the tiger to commemorate the date makes ALL the sense, thank you! He’s also VERY easy to convince with Kuroko *coughcough*Whipped*coughcough* But we love him anyway. Seriously, I wanted Riko and Hyugga to go off together but I guess that was TOO Obvious…*sigh* haha! Given how he’s scared of Nigou, it shouldn’t be surprising that he’s easily scared, I guess? That does make sense with Midorima – we know his scary stories are REAL! Give me the sailor scout AU with KNB, too, please! I loved Truck’s edits! And yes, the “teacups” rides! 😀 Maybe Kuroko just showed up for the finals and lied that he’d been there all along and the staff felt bad and obligated to let him compete! This was so much fun; again, I wish these were animated; I would eat that up! Thank you for the comments!! 😀
