**ILL SPENT HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

Oh ho ho! This series is getting more and more interesting, as a lot of my theories from last episode are turned on their head! I'm SO intrigued to see what is going to be discovered between Cho-san, Haru, Daisuke, Suzue, the first division, the Modern Crimes director -- EVERYONE has a stake in everything and things are getting dicier and we're ONLY halfway through the story! More please!

Daisuke keeping things *very* close to the chest. Which frustrates you as a viewer a little, but also makes you so suspicious of everyone and anyone (*except* Haru). It's pretty bullsh*t that Haru will be punished for the criminal's actions but yet another realistic aspect of policing. Higher-ups gotta cover their backs and someone has to take responsibility. Haru just getting pulled in from all directions (Cho-san and the First Division). And each one is only giving him a certain amount of information to send him down the route that they want him to. Whilst Daisuke seems like he's trying to keep Haru out in order to protect him. That glance around Cho-san did when he took Imura into another room was a glance around for cameras. Illegal interview but no proof of it. Previously also it was shown that Cho used the emotional connection to get results. Once again he's doing the same thing, but in a more rougher manner. What a way to end an episode right? Really leaves you on tenterhooks after just ever so slightly answering why all of this is so personal for Cho-san. This anime in Act 2 really becoming much more of a thriller/mystery. I would agree that Cho-san, especially in this episode, seems like a mixture of Haru and Daisuke. He appears to be very similar in mindset to Haru for seeking justice, however Haru has a very firm line that cannot be crossed as to what you can do to achieve justice. Whereas Cho-san and Daisuke seem to be a bit more similar in that they are willing to toe or even cross the line; the ends justify the means so to speak. VA for Imura is Koyama Mami. She's also voiced Eva from Monster, and Alberta (the princess of Drossel's [Charlotte] head maid) from Violet Evergarden.

The plot thickens!!! I love the different ideas of justice in this show: Haru who is very passionately subscribed to "rules" of justice and how it should be delivered, vs Cho-san who is willing to get his hands dirty to expose evil, vs Daisuke who does things very clinical and impersonal. It's so interesting! The woman was about to crack and tell them everything but Haru could not accept it and stepped up to his superior Cho-San to likely tell her she was free to go. However, that might have ended up as a death sentence for her since someone killed her the moment she was out of police grasp. Everyone is so mysterious! Everything is connected! I can't believe we are already on ep 6!

Yessss, that's such a great note to make about how the three of them handle Justice differently; I'll have to bring that up in a future discussion! And yeah, thank you for clarifying that with the woman about to tell and Haru letting her go because it wasn't done "right." I agree, it was almost a death sentence, because she apparently was going to be killed regardless, except now they don't know what she was going to tell! And yesssss, I can't believe we're at the halfway point and there's SO MUCH MYSTERY! I'm loving it! Thanks for the comment and kind words!

RIGHT?! Haru is the least on my suspect list, hahaha! But yes, I can see Daisuke maybe trying to keep things from Haru to keep him safe but it's SO frustrating not knowing what's REALLY going on! Yes, I hate that Haru seems to end up the scapegoat a lot in this series; realistic, but still BS. And yes, agree with you on the tug of war with Haru, whereas Daisuke seems to be the only one that cares about him at this point, truly. Ahhh, I didn't realize that about him looking around at the cameras to check them; thank you for pointing that out! :) And YES, what a cliffhanger! I didn't expect the thriller/mystery part to take hold this episode but I'm really all here for it! And Ooohhhh, Eva's VA in this! That's awesome! :) Imura seems a lot like Eva...or...well she SEEMED. @_@ Thank you for the comment! :D
