**ANNIVERSARY HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

I wasn't sure what to expect with a new song and audio drama for the 10th Anniversary of the series but I should have known it would have been AMAZING -- and THAT IT WAS!  

 @animeamm  did an AMAZING job translating and creating this AMV and Audio Drama translation (links below)! I was in AWE throughout both of these pieces of media -- they were a perfect celebration of this series and I hope you all enjoy them like I did!

Thank you so much for the shout out. It's honestly been fun doing the translating stuff! They animated the hell out of Murasakibara's hair to make up for the Last Game hair debacles 😂 Glad we didn't spoil you that we get all these new visuals though! Now you understand though why some people wanted just the video posted. There are a lot of great moments you just want to screenshot. Gotta say those rainbow visuals at the beginning with Seirin reminds me a lot of Adam in the Zone in SK8. Yeah 'weep' is definitely not a word we'd use for in this kind of a rock/pop song. In Japanese they use the word 'naki' which by itself means weeping or lamenting. I could have translated it to cry but just went with the more literal translation. Some of the lyrics fit so well with the characters it then flicks to, such as Akashi and "love my current self". I just love that Rakuzan are on a day trip to Nara, and not just because I've been there, but also because them interacting with the deer is too cute! I did joke about the EDs giving us a glimpse of some of the teams doing different sports. Never imagined we'd get all these sports in the 10th Anniversary song. I imagine there will be some FanFic AUs in the near future because of these scenes. Aomine just hitting that 180 so nonchalantly is one of my favourite parts too. It's his entire blasé way of getting up, throwing the darts, and just being like "well what did you expect from me?" And yes, *of course* we go from Imayoshi to Hanamiya. If we can't have them interacting with each other, at least we get this. Also Hanamiya failing to win the Kiyoshi hiyoko plush kind feels like a win for me. Honestly feels like them telling us that the HanaKiyo ship just isn't meant to be 🤣 Same for the bowling alleys here in Northern Ireland; there's typically some type of food for sale and you're allowed to eat it at your lane in most places. The arcade is a total MidoTaka date with three taggers on, and Miyaji is the only one of the senpai that is fully aware of being an extra wheel. I feel like, for me, it's between AkaMi and NijiAka (or could their ship name be NijiShi?) for my favourite Akashi ship. I mean I love AkaFuri and AkaMayu; but I prefer the dynamic we've seen of Nijimura and Akashi. And then with Akashi and Mibuchi they've always been fairly positive in their behaviour to each other, and Akashi seems more open with Mibuchi. Also they feel like they're on more of an equal footing in comparison to the other Akashi ships. The clips with each of them walking did almost make me tear up a little. It's like a little reel of how far each of them have come 🥺 And we get the coaches all looking badass (or trying to) as well as Kagetora being in his Yakuza suit. Honestly the way they showed him and then the other beneath him, following the Yakuza head-canon, it made me think of Kagetora being the head of the family and the rest are his minions/heads of specific areas their group are in control of. And Alex is now part of them so maybe that explains Kagetora connecting with Mafia members in America to get Jabberwock over to Japan 🤣 I knew, after the pain of the Last Game ending, that KagaKuro moment would help you heal a little! There are a few little moments throughout, but Kagami suddenly being there and putting his hand on his shoulder to physically remind Kuroko he's right there with him...really sends the KagaKuro heart flying 🥰 Yup! The drama is from the extra endings of Ending 5 just we get a full dialogue with the voice actors for it. I knew in the audio drama you'd be so hopeful at finally hearing Mitobe speak, but nope! We basically have Koganei having an entire conversation with himself. Suwabe laughing just makes me swoon! Also to find out Aomine was the one that came up with the cute idea of having a pawprint stamp on the leaflets? Yeah I just died a little over that nugget of information 🥰 Kasamatsu being so polite feels so strange, but for the most part the only older person we see him interact with in the show is his coach. He does show some politeness towards his coach, but will still call out Coach Takeuchi (like when he cleaned up in Season 1 to try and compete with Touou's handsome Coach Harasawa). But yes, Kasamatsu you need to grab Kise and help get him away from the mothers! Murasakibara's 'help' in cooking was to "taste-test" 🤣 I love him for that. Poor Murasakibara getting ganged up on by six year olds! Kiyoshi would make the best Dad! I love that Takao is so proud of his boyfriend with the way he talks about Midorima to the kids. Yes, give us all the low speaking Ono Daisuke. Kuroko really showing in that moment why he could do really well as an Elementary School teacher. Moriyama is the Kaijou player that's always blushing over girls so he got all jealous of all the attention the others were getting from the female kids. Murasakibara wanting the cookie is one of my favourite moments from the entire drama. He's honestly the biggest kid out of all of them. And that's saying something when, whilst all the rest are teaching the kids, Aomine and Kagami are playing a game of one-on-one. Those two just can't be on any type of basketball court together without acting like that 😂 The Hanamiya stuff were extra images they made for the 10th Anniversary (as are all the scenes with Rakuzan). But I love Wakamatsu calling Kirisaki Dai Ichi out for being assholes. And Himuro immediately on board with "we must protect the children!" Meanwhile Kiyoshi is just either being such an airhead and thinking there couldn't be anything wrong with Kirisaki Dai Ichi being unleashed on such young children, o he's secretly being a little sh*t. Honestly considering how Kiyoshi is throughout the series I'm leaning more towards the former. Potentially that's why Koganei went with their group, to be Kiyoshi's Jiminy Cricket 🤣 Fukuyama Jun, Hanamiya's voice actor, does have such a great voice. It definitely leaves you feeling conflicted because Hanamiya is such a trash king 😂 That moment for Hayama saying that their nametag is was actually the hardest part of this entire drama to translate 🤣 But it means I learnt a word sometimes used for elephant (象/zou) 😅 But yes to that moment with Mibuchi! It was so great. They definitely made it a lot more blatant than how they did it in the anime. I also love that it's realistic to how kids actually react to that kind of thing (i.e. "you use 'nee' as your suffix instead of 'nii' so therefore you're a girl" and that's it, no further questioning necessary). Miki's entire little story within this is just the cutest! I love how in the course of the day she's managed to open up so much. It's a very realistic portrayal to how some kids are nervous about trying something new but that new thing can be what really helps them break out of their shell if they have patient and caring teachers.

my headcanon is that Takao took the kid who started to imitate Midorima in the drama to home. And started to call him his and MIdorima's child. And NO ONE questions anything, because why would they? :DD

I can see the Sk8 references, as well! That makes sense with the “lament” or “cry” lyrics, hahaha – No, now I need ALL the AU fan fics from what this video gave us! The Aomine/To-Oh darts game tying straight into Hanamiya is HILARIOUS! The Hanamiya x Teppei ship not meant to be! Bahahaha!! I never thought I’d have so many ships to choose from with Akashi, but there’s so many! I do love the positive vibe Mibuchi and him have – it’s a very “mutual” and happy ship. Oh, and this video did nothing to un-cement my Kagetora-is-yakuza theory, as you pointed out! My soul NEEDED that KagaKuro moment, so I was very thankful! I did love the audio drama giving us Aomine laughing and furthering his cute dorkiness with the paw print detail! How DARE they tease and then not have Mitobe speak! Hahaha!! I can actually see Kasamatsu being polite to anyone older than him or out in public; it’s mainly Kise he’s not polite with, because…well…it’s Kise! 😛 Kiyoshi would be the best father and then we have Midorima speaking so low? *SWOON* I love that Kuroko being the best teacher to little kids ties into his potential career teaching them! And I ALWAYS forget Moriyama’s name….even in the manga! 😛 I love that they made extra scenes with Hanamiya’s crew JUST for the 10th anniversary! 😛 Wakamatsu calling his team out and Himuro’s “protect the kids” was SENDING ME! I like to think that Kiyoshi is being very passive aggressively kind/humorous in this…but then, yeah, he could just think that they’re perfectly fine dudes, haha! I was definitely conflicted after hearing his voice for Hanamiya! And of course, Mibuchi’s part was just the best! And Miki’s story relating to Kuroko was the SWEETEST THING!
