**I AM LOUD - HEADPHONE WARNING**  

Oh wow, there is a LOT to talk about with this episode! Things are adding up with Nikaido and there's TONS of connections to be made, predictions of where characters are going, and there's SO MUCH heart and humor in this episode! It was CHECKING OFF BOXES!  

I can't believe we only have four episodes to go. I don't want it to end.

Haru and Minato to boys obsessed with their chosen sport! Haru "I only swim FREE!" Minato "I only shoot Kyudo" Sassy Seiya is BEST! And I HERE for it!! Him manipulating Keito to feel guilty for breaking his glasses. I am sorry but I know who would be in charge of that ship, Captain Seiya. Kaito can cook and Seiya can't boil water, they are perfect together. The beach scene with Nikaido and Masa reminds me of the beach scenes from the last Violet Evergarden movie.

Another fabulous review! The way Nikaido eyes that drink bottle suspiciously. It reminds me of the episode where Masa "tricked" the guys into participating in his festival by giving them "free" food. Of course, when Minato asks to watch them shoot, it probably reinforced Nikaido's suspicion that all gifts come with strings. Sassy Seiya is sassy! His personality has really flourished since he got rid of all that emotional baggage in season 1. I thought the guys didn't want Seiya in the kitchen because he couldn't see. Or maybe because he makes everything so spicy! I don't know what Masa is thinking with this whole competition thing. His team is not being lazy. They don't seem to need a "fire under them." A win might give them some additional confidence, sure. But a loss could put them in a funk close to nationals! It just seems unnecessarily risky to me. We'll see next episode! As always, you pointed out some things that I missed, like how that one guy accidentally touched Seo's hand. I was wondering why he freaked out. Makes sense, now.

I love that connection between Haru and Minato -- I would say I like Minato more as a MC than Haru, but I still like our demisexual dolphin! :) I LOVE Sassy Seiya SO MUCH! Kaito can cook but Seiya can keep him on his toes -- I live for it, too! And ooohhh, I hadn't thought of the Violet Evergarden comparisons, but I am really here for them! :) Thanks for the comment!

His personality has been so wonderful since it's blossomed after season 1, I agree! I definitely think that they find his love of spice and "tastes" to be dubious at best! I would like to think that maybe Masa has faith in his boys to do well and doesn't think they'll be shaken at this point? Is he connecting to Nikaido in some way? I could see that, maybe -- but yes, we'll see! And POOR Otaguro! I feel for him and his crush on Seo! <3 Thank you so much for the kind words and comment!

I really enjoyed how they showed us the differences between those 2 teams. How Kazemai sits together and talks about the days training and how Sujimine is just doing things on their own. I love that detail with Seiya after taking of his glasses. Relatable. Also him commanding Kaito around fully aware that he has his spare pair. I love this little shit. XD Oh my god, your theory on Fuwa's hair and how the missing color is Nikaido's. So good. XD Every series has to have a bisexual king and here it definitely is Fuwa. This was the episode that made Fuwa become my favourite character. He's such a good friend. Awww Ootaguro with Seo. It was so cute. I'm rooting for that relationship. I wasn't prepared for this cuteness. It makes me so sad that Nikaido just doesn't take part in the fun time the others have. He could have so much fun and chooses not to. Nikaido, Nikaido. That beach scene was fantastic. I got teary eyes. I definitely feel like he's close to his breaking point. Now having his Uncle tell him to stop using shamen if he wants to keep going. Ouch. The expressions were also great. And Masaki and Nikaido are an interesting combo for sure. Well, let's see how next episode with the training match plays out and how it affects who. Seiya coming into his own this season has been a GIFT! Poor Kaito...he is a "whipped" boy for SURE! I'm going to come back to that hair comment later this season, but YES, we stan a bisexual king and Fuwa is IT for me! I love his character and what he's doing for Nikaido and his team! He's possibly my favorite on Tsujimine as well! KyoAni just KILLING with the emotional beats in this season -- I loved the cuteness of Otaguro's crush on Seo, and Nikaido -- he needs a dang HUG. Stat. Masaki and Nikaido is all sorts of chaos I wasn't prepared for! Thank you for the kind words and comment and have a great day, too! :D :D
