**HEADPHONE WARNINGS ARE BACCCCKKKK**  

Ohhhh, y'all....Death Note returns to full form...WITH A VENGEANCE! I suspected that our time with sweet, BoyScout Light would end at some point, but the directions this episode took and the instant transformation of our protagonist were CHILLING to say the least!  

At least Rem's not by herself anymore! Now she has a LOT of people that can see her, but Misa is back to her old self, Light's back to HIS old self, RYUK RETURNS (with his own apples this time), and L....poor L...he's surely got SOME plan to save himself at the ready...right? RIGHT?! *nervous sweats*

Omg!! I was so waiting for this episode since the beginning of the reactions of DN and here we are!! This episode was bonkers !! Literally and completely !! So boy-scout Light went bye bye and God Light is back! God sometimes he is insufferable but I love him!! This episode is what cemented him for me as a genius planner and the Aizen and Lelouche joined the club 🤣 About the hot potato game of Death Notes: it was a bit more vicious and complex than touching it to see Riyuk or Rem because he interchanged the shinigami connected to each notebook for several reasons: 1/Higuchi must be arrested with Light’s notebook as all the bames from the beginning are in there so to cement his guilt even post death!! 2/ Rem must be the one attached to Light book because she is more cooperative alas Ryuk diesn’t give a shit and could have blown it up for fun 3/ Misa and Rem myst be separated, as the saying goes, separate them to beat them, so in order to put Misa in a position to make the deal another time, he prepared her psychologicaly with the romantic letter and then shows Ryuk who will have no qualms doing it for her, as fer Rem , no way in hell she would have let her half her life again!! And FINALLY, and as you ve seen 25 so I am spoiling nothing, Rem has to be isolated from Misa so when she will have the cross on the back of danger, Rem will panic and do the unthinkable, which wouldn’t be the case if she was attached to her as before!! And Game, Set and Match Light !!! Yes it sure was useful to switch the shinigamis between notebooks

2022-10-17 08:19:29 Hahahaha, I can understand why people would be waiting for these episodes -- they've been some of the best in the series! <3 Ever since Light lost his memories in Episode 16, I knew there HAD to be a grand plan he had scheming...and it allllll comes to light (pun intended) in this episode. All your points there are exactly why Light is such a genius manipulator. That's a great point about Ryuk needing to be with Misa when she makes the deal again! Rem wouldn't have let her do it! Nice point...although...well, I'll save that discussion for Episode 25. *starts to unpack tissues again* I can't say at this point I'm on team Light, buttttt, one cannot deny that he has been the chessmaster in this series so far. L, my dude...my duddddddeeeee....*sighs* Next week. Next week. Thank you so much for the comment!

I know!! These episodes are rough!! And the events of 25 are tragic. I literally can’t watch that episode without a knot in my stomach every time 😭😭 And as fan of Light as I am, I hated him in 25 !! Why did you do that Light!! 😭😭

I re-watched 24 and 25 today...why I did that, I'm not sure...maybe because I want to hold on, hahaha, but man....what powerful episodes. T__T
