Yona of the Dawn: Manga Volume 36 Reaction & Review! (Patreon)

**HEADPHONE WARNINGS, Y'ALL**

This volume did NOT go at all as I expected! Kusanagi is holding out on the BIG conversations I still think remain to happen, but there was still SO MUCH development in this volume!

Meinyan gets fleshed out (and makes a friend, forming my new crack pairing), we meet Chagol (joy) and Val (who is in now way shape or form the Hak to Meinyan's Soo-won), Soo-won tries to get ZENO of all people to become King, and Yona's having bad dreams...nope. Stay away from the possibility of the dragons dying, Kusanagi. Don't you DARE. 

There's so much happening in Yona! Sadly, we are taking a week off next week (there'll be something else I'm reacting to on here instead), and Volume 37 should be up on 10/7!

And of course we don't get to see Soo-won's face when he hears Hak agreed to go fetch him herps. I love Soo-won's and Zeno's dynamic. What I love about Hak's and Yona's dynamic is that they both don't want eachother to protect them but they want to protect the other. If you like darker skinned characters with white/light hair then you need to watch Sarazanmai. One of my favourite animes and the character is also voiced by Mamoru Miyano. So if Meinyan and Val are like Soo-won and Hak then they are what Hakwon could have been if nothing came in between Soo-won and Hak?! About that Jae-ha picture, the colour of his hair was a dark blue and keishuk does have dark blue/black hair so it seemed a lot like him. I was already so excited to see a colour art of Keishuk and then it was Jae-ha. XD I'm wondering if one of the reasons why Soo-won thinks Yona and Hak won't ever forgive him is because he feels that way towards Ill. But they never had a bond while Yona, Hak and him had one. Meinyan and Val potentially being the answer to Hak and Soo-won if we had them together? *swoons* I'm here for that, even if I do kind of ship her and Yun together, haha! Of COURSE we don't get to see Soo-won's face concerning Hak -- I'm just waiting for Kusanagi to bring them together for us...I need it! And yes, Hak and Yona wanting to protect each other but not have the other rely on them...*sigh* Get a room, you two! :P That's a fair point about Soo-won not being able to forgive Il, so how could Yona and Hak forgive him...and I want to slap him silly and tell him not everyone is the SAME! Hahahahaha!! What can we do, though?! Maybe Zeno can step in and reiterate to Soo-won the importance of keeping those bonds while they last...because they won't always be there, eh? T-T And yeah, I can totally see the Keishuk resemblance in that image of Jae-ha, looking back on it! :) Thank you so much for the comments and have a great day!! :D
