**SEMIFINAL HYPE HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

This game is FIRE so far! Sawamura and Amahisa are at their best, the tension is high, and just when I think TJ isn't going to add any unnecessary angst...he goes and drops YAKUSHI RAICHI ANGST ON ME?! Does he not know my stress levels in this game so far?!

I am loving this semifinal game but it is SO TENSE -- thank goodness TJ throws us a bone and doesn't leave in complete defeat with Ichidai Third scoring the first run of the game...come on, Seidou...we can make it up...right?!

I dont have as much to say about this volume as I usually do because honestly I just love this game all around lol I actually love how upset Amahisa gets over the fact that Miyuki doesn't visibly react to his sly slider lol. Like he threw it for a facial reaction and Miyuki just walks away without one and it really throws Amahisa for a loop. Zono gives him what he wants right after but still lol its very funny to me. As a pitcher you really do love seeing batters frustrated. It almost feels insulting when people don't seem annoyed by getting struck out One of the best things to come out of this game is Amahisas dislike of Miyuki lol. Him calling him the "last boss" sticks with me through everything lol I'm so proud of our boy for making it to 140 km/hr. I bet no one at Seidou thought he'd ever get up to that speed. Honestly 140 km/hr is fast even for real life high school Japanese baseball players. They always make Sawamura out to be a slower pitcher but in real life he'd be faster than most. From not even 130 km/hr at the beginning of the series to 140 is such amazing growth. I really love that TJ included a part of this game where Sawamuras bunting prowess is being proven and praised. Them all talking about how hard it would be to bunt off Amahisa and him still being able to do it is just so good. I genuinely think he could bunt off any pitcher no matter how fast or how crazy their breaking balls are lol. Even with some wild spin I think he could still do it. It's probably the first time we've seen him foul a bunt but to get it right the very next time is really nice This may be Mochis angriest game lol and it's all because of that pick off in the first inning and the fact that Kuramochi really doesn't like Amahisa much 🤣🤣 he's been upset about not being safe at first before but that was like pure raw rage lol. But I do love little brother Sawamura coming in right after to spread his sunshine and try to get Mochis head back on. He always knows exactly what he needs to hear. Ah man the Raichi and Sanada stuff always gets me. Not knowing where Raichi is makes me so sad. Like how bad did he have to be to where even Raizou couldn't help. Whoever has him better be taking the best care of him. It really hurts to see Sanada so down too. He was so positive and okay with the loss after but I guess after thinking more he just wasn't as okay with it as he thought. TJ giving Miyuki level ups is also so nice. He's been this genius catcher since day one with this series but knowing he can improve too and that he is and still working on new things to be better is just amazing. Framing is really important for a catcher. You can change balls to strikes so easily if you know how to frame properly and for a pitcher like Sawamura who has such good control, it opens so many doors to be able to get strikes without the fear of losing a hit. It's sad that Masashi is considered Seidous only defensive hole but I applaud Ichidai for being able to pinpoint that slight issue. They would've seen it in action in the spring when Masashi missed that hit to the outfield but to be confident that it would still be a problem is pretty bold. It could've very easily gone a bad way for them. I need Asou to get it together lmao he literally looks like Eijun after the yips. Get ahold of yourself boy. Thats all I have to say for this week. Excited to see volume 27 + the true ending of volume 26 next week 😉😛

2022-10-17 09:41:23 This game has been so wonderful so far! <3 Amahisa and Miyuki’s….”rivalry” in this match is nearly hilarious – they’re both out for each other’s blood. In no way, shape, or form because of a certain southpaw they’re vying for attention from…I’m sure. “The Last Boss” – well, if your goal is to take Sawamura away with you, then yes. I love that our sunshine boy has made it to 140 km/hr, that’s so great for him! :3 And YES, getting praise for his bunting prowess – I love that he’s turned something that could be seen as a weakness and made it his own, an against Amahisa no less! ^^ Kuramochi is MAD! I like that he at least channels his anger instead of letting it get to him – he’s just very much in “rage mode” throughout this series – And Sawamura being the best “little bro” for him - It makes sense that Kuramochi AND Miyuki are so against Kosei…and Kosei has no clue why! ;) I was NOT ready for the Yakushi angst! @_@ Where is Raichi?! I’m going to be in turmoil until TJ shows us our banana boy again. The fact that Raizou COULDN’T help is unsettling…I just hope he’s okay, and it is sad to see Sanada in such a low place as well. It looks like once things settled, the loss finally sunk in. I hope he gets to feeling better after this game! I love that we see how much EVERYONE has grown in these games, Miyuki included! Hopefully, Masashi gets that growth as well in these games, too! And Asou does worry me, so I hope he can get a grip as well…it wouldn’t be Ace of the Diamond without SOME form of angst or drama, though, would it? Thank you for the comment and yesssss, so excited to ACTUALLY finish Volume 26 and get to Volume 27, hahaha!
