**ARROGANT HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

This series decided in its 11th hour to head off the rails and I am HERE FOR IT. I'm not caught up with the manga yet, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to wait until next week to watch the season finale...  

The traitor is FINALLY confirmed in a way only Ferid could pull off and the penultimate episode of the season has an all-out war between Vampires, Humans, and whatever Kimizuki's sister has "become" in the box Kureto is keeping her in...this is going to be a messy finale, but I'm on board for it!

Poor Shinya getting all that shade for no reason.

Finally, Shinya is in the clear. Shinya is a troll, not gonna deny it, but he is also one of the nice, sweet and wholesome character. He is too loyal, mainly to Guren. I think his jolly, happy persona is kind of his defence mechanism to keep the people away from him to not get hurt. Guren is an exception as he he lets him in and cares about him so much, that’s why he blindly trusts him so much. It would be interesting to know how their relationship is going to change him now knowing that Guren has been keeping this big secret from him all this time. Few episodes prior, when people from the army died, Shinya was more concerned about how Guren was feeling at that time, as he was afraid that Guren is going to blame himself for what happened, as Shinya can’t imagine Guren ever being a bad or non empathetic person. Even Guren thought that Shinya is going to ask him not go with the ‘rescue the rest from the vampires’ mission because Shinya was afraid of something bad happening to Guren and the rest of the members. He didn’t want anyone to get hurt but he still went along with that because he trusted Guren to do the right thing. I would like to know your thoughts about Guren planning to get captured by the vampires from the start. If that was the plan all along, why would he involve Shinya by asking to come with him and telling others to go elsewhere. The only reason I can think is that it would be the only way to get Shinya to take the lead when he is not there and stop him from chasing after Guren. You can also see the change in Shinya’s personality and his happy persona change into this serious and stern persona after Guren was taken away by Vampires. If you look into these last episodes, Shinya hasn’t smiled or made a joke after he was separated from Guren.

I can't believe I suspected Shinya so much! Ahhhh....it's good to know that Shinya is actually a decent person, just putting on the facade! That is a great question -- with Guren going back and forth with this demon inside of him, it makes it harder to speculate, but I like your theory that it was the only way to make Shinya take the lead, to do it FOR Guren, thinking there was no other option and it was what Guren wanted. That is REALLY good observing how with Guren not there or in danger, Shinya's happiness is gone too. @w@ Uggggghhh...our poor dudes!
