**BLACKOUT HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

So what would happen if a military base and city, that almost solely requires electricity to function, suddenly had a blackout? We find out this episode, but the timing couldn't be worse -- as an angel has arrived to wreak havoc! Luckily, our trio of Evangelion pilots get to have their first "mission" together, backed by NERV and even Shinji's father is back gets involved (somewhat)!

The world-building, lore, and character development ramps up again, and some important questions are asked that I feel the rest of the rest of the series is going to focus on!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Finally Rei returns! I love the scene where Rei states that she isn’t favoured, and that she know it all to well, it calls into question the seemingly good relationship she has with Gendo and makes you wonder what is going on under the surface between them. The end scene where Rei waxes philosophical about man fearing darkness is also a very compelling moment between the three pilots, and Rei has quite a few profound scenes like this throughout the course of the show (it’s a big reason why she’s such a popular character). We also got more Kaji shadiness, speculation on the motivations of the Angels, and the Magi are finally explained! I can’t wait to see your reaction to the next episode as some of your questions regarding a certain character will finally be answered!

Yesssss, that once highly respected relationship with Gendo we thought Rei had is suddenly called into question! I really love the moments we've gotten with Rei, which have been few and far between, and they make me want more of them! And yesssss, more on many things, but I'm really excited for the next few episodes! :D Thank you for the kind words and comment! :D

"City where science reigns supreme", says she meaning threee supercomputers named for the three Magi! Talk about Bible allusions in an episode with an Angel Full of Eyes! I keep thinking of them as some kind of Apocalypse heralds, again. Also, that reminds me of Psychopass, I think you'll have a blast watching it some time later having all the NGE references there in your memory. A small unrelated observation: Tokyo is actually a megapolis where you can see dozens of stars at night, it's amazing how the light pollution is kinda low although the downtown never sleeps. It can be due to many businesses closing early, and also due to air-cleaning facilities that look like tall slim white towers, dope as hell. As for my city, I can make out Orion's belt and maybe the Big Dipper late at night but not much more.

Ooohhhh, right?! All the biblical references! I've heard Psycho Pass is really good, so I look forward to seeing it eventually! And oooohhh, that's REALLY interesting about being able to see the stars in Tokyo! I love that the light pollution limits it to where you can! :) I love that! I'm out in the countryside, so I see stars all the time, so I try not to take it for granted; that's good to know, though!
