*Some Headphone Warning, but Mostly Shocked Silence*

I was not ready for the PAIN of this volume. Hak's rage and sense of betrayal at one of his closest friends comes to a head, as Soo-won realizes just the extent of how much Hak and Yona have grown and changed because of his actions. But, as Chapter 94 is titled, time keeps moving forward...and now these characters have to move forward despite all that has happened between them.

This volume and conclusion to the Water Tribe arc was powerful and fantastic - this series really lets the pain get under your skin, but there's no time for total gloom and despair...our crew has too much yet to do. Things are in motion, and I cannot WAIT to see what happens next.

Thank you for reading with me and for the support!

Well, I have a few reactions to catch up on. I've read this volume so many times. The pain is too good. I really enjoyed that we got to see a bit of Ju-do's view to this, especially since he knows them from when they were little. "I can't be swayed away by my emotions." What was it about Hak wasn't ready to meet Soo-won yet last reaction? He definitely wasn't. But I do believe it was necessary. He kinda needed that. This was the first time we saw him cry over Soo-won and what he did. He supressed his emotions and I think he needed to let it out. Even if it was really painful. It's so sad because you clearly see that on both sides they still love eachother and it's so hard to read. One thing I really love is that we see the tribe leaders and their different ways to show love to their kids. First Soo-jin and now Joon-Gi. Wish you a wonderful day!!

It's really one of those "hurts so good" volumes, but MAN the pain! @_@ I do love that we get Ju-do's views as well -- he's such an interesting side character alongside Guen-Tae! And yeah, as painful as it was, I am glad that Hak FINALLY let his emotions out. But yesssss, the love they have for each other is still there and it's so heartbreaking that there's a "wall" between them. But yes, seeing how the parents engage with their kids in different ways is really interesting! Thank you so much for the comment and I hope you have a wonderful day, too!
