Oooh, while we travel in search of the elusive Green Dragon, the series checks in on ol' Soo-won, as he and Ju-Do visit the Earth Tribe to check in on the General, Guen-tea, who is QUITE the character, indeed! Soo-won is acting SUPER SUSPICIOUS, too; I have theories, but it's going to be interesting how they pan out these next few episodes...

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

The truck

This time I have a lot to say, (at least in my mind, idk how long it would be in a written form, but first things first) Yeah, Bakugou's VA voicing sinha is pretty surprising, because he voices mostly... Very loud characters, but then he has a few softer roles, like this one and like... Mikoshihba from gekkon shoujo (idk if you have seen it, but I really recommend it). Very talented voice actor. I love this opening so much, SO MUCH. like the 1st one was good, I liked it a lot, but this one? I love it, it grows on me more and more every episode. I haven’t exactly seen this episode in ages, mostly because when I rewatch this, I rewatch the episodes with the green dragon. for some reason. I wonder why :D This episode was pretty much all about the kings, the past king il and the current king so-woon. I have a lot of opinions on this but Idk if I know how to word it. Getting the confirmation from a citizen's mouth that, yes, king il was a bad king. That solidified my "theory" which was pretty much what I had putten up from the clues and all the stuff, and I think I ranted about that in some comment already in like ep 6? maybe, so I'm not starting that again. I can't judge So woon from killing king il. YES, I think that murder is bad, BUT when I think about the story, IF we haven’t seen yona as the main character, but so woon, and we would have not seen his kind side but what he was like as a king (aka pretty bad king) in another story like that, we the viewers, probably would cheer for him. Taken how often people watching revolution stories cheer when after a huge battle the corrupt king gets killed by someone that wants to change the ways of the kingdom. SO, I feel like, IF I blamed So-woon I would be a hypocrite. That's just me though, maybe someone else feels in a different way. And then there's of course the "is a life of one worth more than a kingdom" in my opinion, no. but that too depends on people as well. A king's job is to create/maintain a system that works. What type of system? that depends, but in the end, if the large majority is happy with it? Then it works. Is it a just or a fair one? maybe, maybe not. But if it works, the king is doing at least something right. King il? His ideas were pretty and nice, but honestly? It was just a delusion. I believe that a righteous world can exist, but not with King il's method. I agree with hak, King il's was not a fool for believing that an ideal world would be with no conflict. But in my eye's king il was a fool for believing that it was possible. He was a fool because he sacrificed a kingdom for an impossible dream. King il, no matter what he believed, he was a king, he had responsibility for millions(idk the population) of people. And when you are in a position like that, your responsibilities come way before your dreams impossible of utopia. Random thing tough, I fail to see how hiding one's wounds make someone a "not coward" bc people hide their wounds all the time. King il should have taken care of his citizens. But he did not. Instead, he created a small utopia in his castle and turned a blind eye to the people he should have looked after. (sorry if I accidentally keep repeating myself(I try not to), but I take authority figure's and their responsibilities very seriously) "who's king was he supposed to be" That's what the guy said, and it was a brilliant question. and i’m so sure I will be going to bed tonight thinking about it. Of course, there's a possibility that So Woon will be even worse king, BUT we have to wait and see for that one. Writing this made me think about how when I started to watch ur videos, I was somehow very intimidated by all the long comments you get and I didn't wanna be the one guy to send some short message with no purpose, yet where have I come.

Ah, i wanted to warn you about the new OP and ED, but I forgot it happens this episode 😓😓😓 TBH, I prefer the first OP but with this new ED for the show overall. I’m so sad that they changed the OP, though, I mean it’s a good song and all, but it doesn’t fit vibe lol In the manga, I’m pretty sure this Soo-won storyline, we see it after we meet the Green Dragon. But, chronologically, it makes sense for it to be placed here. I don’t know if anyone clarified, but ‘Sinha’ has always been Shin-Ah to me. And you definitely hear it when they say it. Not really sure why they translated the names so weirdly but oh well. And I meant to comment on the last reaction about this, but I love Big Brother Kija. He’s decided to fully adopt Shin-Ah just as we all have 😂😂😂 This small Soo-won section is…interesting. Of course, I’m a little salty since it’s prolonging our chance to see the green dragon, but it’s definitely not all is as it seems. Soo-won is such an interesting character, and he definitely reminds me a lot of Jin Guangyao like you mentioned. That customer service smile really shines through in this episode 😂😂😂 General Geun-tae is such a character—his bantering with Ju-doh is so funny. When they both were thanking each other for restraining themselves, I dieddddd 🤣 The next episode is going to be so much fun, and I can’t wait for your reaction for it!

Oh my, I forgot about the 2nd OP and ED, I usually skip these 2 episodes so I completely forgot the new OP doesn't start on ep 17! While these are good episodes and very informative I think a lot of people skip over them, at least on rewatches, for a few reasons. 1: Because it breaks the hype of finding the dragons and 2: These episodes are actually later chapters in the manga (ch 44-46) and it makes me curious as to why they put them in the middle of searching for the dragons. (Green dragon arc starts on ch 26) Having 2 extra episodes for the dragons I think would have been better. Despite that, these episodes are good in showing what kind of king Soo-won can potentially be, he's cunning and intelligent and probably wouldn't have issues going to war. He's someone that the kingdom can trust, ironically. The green dragon is so close! Good reaction as always!

FYI, in the Eng Dub, the Va for Yun is voiced by Clifford Chapin, who also voiced Bakugo in MHA!

I really LOVE these episodes! But I can see why some would skip over them...and INTERESTING that they inserted them here instead of where they go later in the manga! Curious!! I do really love these episodes; maybe it was to break the routine of the show so it wasn't so "formulaic?" Maybe there was a big Soo-won fandom in Japan at the time? :) In either case, I really like this episode and the next, but I am REALLY gung ho to get to the Green Dragon! Thanks for the kind words!

Oh, I'm glad no one told me! I love being surprised! :) I'm okay with the new OP/ED -- definitely a fan of the first, but this one is fine! I do find it fascinating that the Soo-Won story has been moved around, but I love this episode and the next, so it's fine! I know that my patience will be rewarded with our Green Dragon boy! :) And yessss, Shin-Ah --I'll eventually get his name right! And Kija just adopting him is absolutely adorable! <3 I love it! And yessss, Soo-won and Yao would have a very interesting discussion with one another...except Soo-won's dad loved him....so there's that. And Geun-Tae is just great so far! I LOVE the next episode SO MUCH, so I can't wait to talk with you all about it! Thanks for the kind words!

Ooooh, there's some really good thoughts in this comment (never worry about them being long...have y'all heard my long-winded ramblings?! Hahaha, I have no room to judge and I like hearing people's thoughts) -- and I think maybe in the next episode some of them will be addressed, but yessss....the more we hear about King Il, the more it's realized he was a kind person, but not a good king. It makes me all the more intrigued about his and Yu-Hong's backstory...which I'm sure I'll get in due time! :) In the meantime, it's so hard, because Soo-won seems to be in the makings of being a good king for the people, as he should be...it's just hard because it's flying the face of Hak, Yona, and the dragons and what they're fighting for....why can't we all just get along?! :P I have a lot of thoughts for the next episode, but I would say that I don't think King Il is a coward, per say, but he was idealistic without striving to really take into account all the facets of his actions. He wanted to create a peaceful world without war, but neglected the needs of his individual tribes and their cultures...which...is not good. @_@ It's all so complicated, but I love it for that!

I completely forgot that there are two OP and ED's. XD We all need our emotional support animal Ao. I don't think Ill is a fool for believing that a life without conflict would be ideal but I do think he was a fool for letting other people suffer for HIS ideals. He was in a position where he should put all the people in his land at first place. But he didn't which makes him a bad king. "This reminds me of the people I love" Thanks for breaking my heart for the 1000th time. It's so intriguing everytime we get more of Soo-won. And him having some similiarities with Jin Guangyao makes it really interesting to rewatch and then reread the story with that in mind. Even though Soo-won is my favourite character and I adore him I also get frustrated with him. I understand him but it just hurts to know that he sacrificed the people he loved to be there. But from what it looks like he really is making an effort to be a good king and help this country. This little arc with Soo-won is in the manga actually right before the last scene from the anime. I think they put it in here so the end of the season isn't so focused on the antagonist? That would at least explain it for me. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I'm totally okay with the new OP/ED! Shakes things up, hahaha! And yes, emotional support from an adorable squirrel! I won't turn Ao away! :) Yupppp, heart breaking indeed....and Soo-won proves to be SO intriguing! I DO appreciate that he is at least trying to be a good king, which makes his betrayal to Yona/Hak all the more tragic, and the reality sinking in that Il wasn't a good king all the more heartbreaking, because Yona and Hak are our protagonists and we want to root for them...but they back the memory of someone who was maybe not the best for the kingdom, sooooo....it's complicated, right?! And that's VERY interesting with the placement of this side-story! Hmmmm...curious! It definitely has me hyped to read the manga afterwards! Thank you for the kind words and have a wonderful day, too!!
