Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 1 "Recap" Reasonings... (Patreon)

Hey all! 

As I get ready to start Season 4, I've heard that Episode 16 of Part 1 isn't really the "middle" of the season like Episode 12 was in Season 3.

If you want to comment below, is there a better "midway" point of Season 4 for a Recap? I'm thinking my options are: 

* Do a Recap after Episode 16 of Part 1

* Do a Recap after the "actual" midway point of the season or after a preferred episode

* Do two Recaps? Someone on YT suggested that! Hahaha!


I'm here for all feedback, just no spoilers, if that's possible! :P

Personally I think that doing the recap after Episode 16 of Part 1 it’s the best way to do it, I don’t think that season 4 part 1 has a clear midway point. But that’s just my opinion!

I think doing a recap after ep 16 is totally fine, even though it's not a real ''middle'' of the season, it still splits things up nicely for a recap before pt2.

I agree, there’s no good midway stopping point, episode 16 is as good a place to stop as any! 😊

Do the recap after Ep 16 or Part 1, as this is the point MAPPA decided to stop. It is not a middle per say but it’s still a good place to recap :)

Yes doing the recap after part 1 would be ok. Alot happens so a recap to discuss & brace for the finale season that is Part 2 makes sense. Only if you feel like it tho of course lol

you can do it after episode 8, as there was a little break when it was broadcast and the story shifts

If you're doing two recaps in total, I would do one for part 1 and one for part 2. (You could move 16 to the part 2 if you want to make the number of episodes a bit more similar I guess) If you're doing three, I would suggest something like 1-8. 9-18ish or 21ish, and the rest (details would need to be fixed after they're out). You can just wait and see if you feel you have enough to say after 8 episodes; if you do, it might be better than having one ultra-long one for the whole part (imagine having to do one for season 3 without stopping after part 1...)

Thank you! Yes, with everything that happened in Season 3, I feel two recaps for Season 4 is needed!!!

Oh, having just recorded the recap for Part 2 of S3, it was a good thing I split the recaps, haha! Thank you for the feedback; I'll probably wait and see how things are looking towards ep 8, to see if a mini-cap is needed, haha!
