Our boy "Blue" finally has a name! Is it Sihna or Shina? I'm sure y'all will me in the comments! Regardless, the name meaning "Moonlight" is so fitting!  

I have a feeling that he'll be a nice balance to the zaniness of the remaining chaotic gremlin squad -- and we still have two other members to potentially add to the mix as well! I will definitely be curious to see how Kija will build a friendship with our new member, and how he'll react to learning about the dragon lore as we go!

Yeah, that moment when Shina is standing in the field under the moonlight is one of my favorites boy story wise and visually. Now on the the GREEN dragon boy, ha ha ha, ha ha ha!!!

2021-12-31 23:22:03 soo. The next dragon next? :D Green is probably my personal fav out of the characters. And even though Hak is like perfection incarnate... I might prefer the green one, PERSONALLY. Hak may be too perfect for my tastes. (and I have a type. (ง ื▿ ื)ว ) But nothing more to say before you actually meet the guy, (I'm just so excited (*/ω＼) ) Also, the mask, is like, the most multipurpose thing in the whole series, LOL. When it comes to Hak calling Yona a princess. BEFORE she specified her reason for wanting to be called a process by Hak, I thought that she wanted to be called a princess by Hak because; I thought she wanted to be called that to not get too comfortable with Hak, or smt similar, AFTERALL Yona still thinks that Hak is protecting her bc or her dad's orders. And I thought it would make sense, that you wouldn't want to get too close with someone who is being close to you only bc of orders. After all, it would hurt when that someone had fulfilled their part of the promise or smt and decides to leave. and while I think that Yona's explanation was good and very understandable, I still feel like my theory may be right-is in some VERYY minuscule way. Maybe. idk if I made any sense, but I offer you my humble rambling that I made with feverish half-awake brain. (･ω<)☆

Ooohhhh, you have me excited for green dragon boy and his experiences with Hak; I can’t waiiiitttt! :) And that does make sense with Hak and Yona…I just want them to be end game! :) I will gladly accept any humble ramblings!! Thank you! :D

Shin-Ah, that's how his name is officially written :) Also, I have the impression that when Yona tells Hak to keep calling her princess was pretty disliked by the fandom, even my first thought was like "whaaaat Yona I love you but that was just b*tchy" haha but the way I look at it now is like "the person I loved the most KILLED my father, no more king". Hak calling Yona princess means she is the daughter of a king, therefore he was real, that's the way he keeps him alive for her, even if it's only from memories. And the only one who can truly make her feel that "princess" has a special meaning is Hak. If Yun or the dragons call her like that is only out of respect, but if Hak calls her princess is the recognition of king Il. Ohhh, you're gonna LOVE the interactions with the green dragon. Can't wait for you to meet him, and his voice actor *chef's kiss* but I want to see if you recognize him first haha Anyways, can't wait for the next episodes and to keep watching anime with you on 2022, hope you an awesome year and the best wishes for what's next

Oohh, that makes more sense! It’ll probably take me some episodes to get that down, haha! But I love him! But I agree with you; Yona wants to hold onto her father’s legacy as “king,” so she wants to keep his memory alive through Hak, and knows Hak will do it. :3 It’s kind of sweet from that perspective. I am SO READY for the Green Dragon! :) I can’t wait! Thank you so much for the kind words and Happy New Year to you as well!

Finally his name! As others have said, it's pronounced Shin-ah and he's the most precious dragon so of course Yona had to give him the best name she could. I think I've said before, the green dragon I believe is the only one whose name isn't butchered in these subs so once you get to him you should be fine pronouncing it right. And then the yellow dragons name is slightly off, just the first letter like Kija's was but the OVA's fix that at least. I think the next 2 episodes are slightly different if I remember but I can't wait for you to see the green dragon! Oh and happy new year!

Lol poor hak indeed! But tbf to yona, after everything that went down and is happening now, what with her struggling to find her new place in the world, plus the trauma of what happened with the last guy she loved (that she might not even completely be over coughs that darn hairpin), I think it makes sense that romance isn’t even registering on her mind! That’s why I don’t think the “princess” thing is a rejection either. Yona is still under the impression that hak is with her at least partially out of respect to king il, and we see that there is some truth to that when hak thinks of his promise to him to protect her when she’s trapped in that cave. Like even though he does love her, he’s smothered those feelings for so long out of love for her and soowon that he’s probably subconsciously channeled them into protectiveness, which was in line with his duty anyway, and even if soowon isn’t in the picture anymore, hak has known about yona’s feelings for him for so long and has always had the image of the two of them ruling together while he serves to protect them as a general that it’s probably hard to abandon that sense of duty even though the love was always there. That’s why yona wants to be strong enough to “free” hak at some point, so that hak will have peace of mind knowing that she doesnt NEED him to protect her, whether out of love OR duty, and then he can truly choose to stay by her side out of his own volition. Plus right now no one else in the kingdom knows or recognizes her as the princess at all unless she’s introduced as such, shed been that sheltered away, and she’s learned that no one really thinks kindly of king il either, soowon took over without issue and any fuss with il passed just like that. And there’s no guarantee for what will happen, she might continue her travels and live out her life as just yona, but IF she reclaims her throne someday then everyone will know her, will remember il through her, and it wont just be her and hak holding on to these memories of the life they’ve lived together, and maybe then he can call her whatever he wants. But until that day or something else changes, she’s the princess.

The idea that she wants to be strong enough so that if he stays, it’s TRULY because he wants to and without any sense of duty. *swoons* I’m really excited for that to hopefully happen in the manga, because I’m sure we won’t get to that point this early on in the series, but we shall see, eh? :) This was such a great analysis! :) Thank you for the comment! Not Yona and Eren/Historia being besties. XD Shin-ah is such a cinnamon roll. Him saying that he forgot how Ao looks like broke me but it makes sense. It's been some time and he was really young. I can say it over and over again, Kija is a mess but he's really kind. Besides memories, Hak is the only person/thing Yona has left from the kingdom. I really like the reason she wants Hak to continue to call her Hime. That scene was amazing. Yona chose the perfect name for our blue dragon. "Moonlight" fits him perfectly. Also Kija looking good at the end. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I can dream, right?! The parallels with Yona and AOT are so there, though!! I love Shin-ah! He's such a cinnamon roll and so precious! UGH...and YES, him forgetting how Ao looks is so tragic. And yessss, both that Kija is an adorkable hot mess, but also that Yona keeping Hak as a memory of her father and past is wonderful. This episode was really good!
