We're keeping it "simple and clean" for this Recap, Review, and RIP of Season 3, Part 1!

No fancy gimmicks (unless you count Whiteboard-kun and my dog trying to interrupt me so I'll play with him), just me talking and toasting for three and a half hours non-stop about the first half of this maddening season 3!  

There's never enough time to talk about this amazing series, but one thing's for certain: I am NOT ready for the insanity that will be Part 2!

Your episode ranking is interesting. I put Wish and Bystander tied at the top because Eren x Historia, with Friends following right after. I’m a sucker for that ship. These three episodes are masterfully executed writing and production as an anime. I put Pain lower than Night of the Battle (Ep. 12) because I just love, love, love Erwin’s cheer at the end. You never see him smile like that and he can’t contain himself even when he is usually more reserved for things like this, I feel. You are a true shipper: Uri as that uke and Kenny as the tsudere seme in that ship is fantastic. My main ship is Eren x Historia, but I just wish he could have just be in a trio relationship with Mikasa. Scream showed that he wants to really be the protector for Mikasa (when she would allow him 😂) and Wish shows that Eren and Historia are on kind of equal footing, so they bring out different wants in my shipper mind. I can’t wait until tomorrow for the start of S3P2! You are really anxious for it but just gotta keep moving forward like the rest of us. 🤣

I will forever regret/rethink my episode rankings! I can totally see Wish at the top, too! It's soooo good as well. Erwin's cheer in Episode 12 is so good, too! Ugh...how can we rank this part? It's not possible...I tried, but you can argue it so many ways! Uri x Kenny just feels RIGHT. It's a ship for the ages. And I love Eren x Historia too, after this season. Mikasa x Eren is great, too, I just need Eren and Mikasa to see themselves on equal footing like Eren x Historia does, like you said. They're very different ships. And yessss! I'm very excited to get into Part 2 -- there's no going back, now! Thank you for the kind words and comment!!

Hmm... Well... The Timeline, very simple indeed. I have yet to understand any of it... Even after watching this, I was like... " I kinda get it now...! cuz ur so good at explaining, but then I remembered all the context were gonna get later and... Timeline? what's that? edit: When in watching, you just used a word to describe inside the walls, not telling when you did or in which content. Telling it would be a spoiler, kinda, depending on the context. but in the coming context... You just used a world that was just so perfect and cruel... at the same time. I think I'm gonna cry, please excuse me.

I love how in the theories Eren went from villain to savior and King 😆. They really put us though lots of roller coasters with these character developments.

RIGHT?! Season 3 Part 1 put me on a roller coaster with Eren's character...I mean...he could still be a King AND a Villain, sooooooo........ ;) I am REALLY curious what they'll do with his character, now, but we'll have to see, eh? :D

Thank you so much for the kind words and comment! These are actually a lot of fun to sit down and just vent/talk about the series straight -- but there's SO MUCH for this first part...I know I left out things I wanted to say that I'll have to address in the other reactions...I'm glad these are helpful, too! yay! I have a feeling the ones for Season 3 Part 2 and Season 4 are going to be WILD. @_@
