So....IT'S ON! Ymir can become a Titan! I was honestly not expecting it to be HER that could transform, but now that we know she can -- MORE QUESTIONS! Is Ymir connected to Annie? Why is she protecting Krista? Why is Bertoldt twenty kinds of suspicious, still?!  

All I can say is Reiner jumped up from "B" to "A" rank already in this episode, and things things are heating up...it's Ymir's move, but what's her plan?!

Oooohh, interesting! After the start of the season, I've already started to alter my views on Hitch, so I'm excited to hopefully see more of her, but yeah, Nanaba was a badass woman -- I really liked her character. RIP, girl.

All of the minor characters have cool or just fitting designs. I also like Gelgar’s with his pompadour who loves living life his own way and alcohol, Riko’s with her glasses, grim look and short silver hair and the second-in-command under Pyxis has that supportive Petra-like look (can’t recall her name at the top of my head).

I seriously came to like Gelger and Nanaba -- it's a shame they were gone too soon! We only just got to see their characters and enjoy them...and yes! I like that even the minor characters have distinctive designs, like Riko and Pyxis -- and YES! That one girl DOES look a lot like Petra...have we gotten her name, yet? I can't recall. Hmm.

a couple thoughts of mine, without spoilers I'm not sure if you meant it that way, but you compared Ymir's fake laugh to Annie's laugh back when she got cornered by the survey corps, and it is reminiscent of that, but I think Annie's laugh was very genuine - it's the kind of laugh when you had to keep a secret (her being the female titan) for so long that when you're finally found out, it's so overwhelmingly relieving that she couldn't keep it in any longer. If your thoughts about the sunlight are right (the sunlight breaking just in time for Ymir to "work" as a titan), then why did the beast titan "work" just fine when we saw him when there was just moonlight? :P anyway, I love your confusion but you're doing a great job paying attention to all the details the show is throwing at you.

Ahhh, that's an interesting way to view it -- Annie's laugh was genuine, just seemingly out of character for how she's acted up until now. Whereas Ymir's was fake, but kind of on point for her character...interesting.... And ahhhh, the moonlight letting them all go? Is it just light in general? Are there different factions of titans that can move in different kinds of light?! Are there just "Rave Titans" that can only move under UV blacklights?! Joking, but still....so many questions! Thanks for the kind words! I love getting to throw all my confusion out during the reaction and see what will end up sticking in the later episodes! :D

You keeping a close eye on bertholdt the whole half of the episode was hilarious! Reiner best boy I will not be told differently (Jean where ya at we miss and are worried about you?!) You were saying that Nanaba and Gelger were gonna die and me having already watched the show was like "no they don't?" needless to say I was legitimately surprised when they did die :( I guess it's been a while. Connie and Reiner: *bonding* Bertholdt: Time to be suspicious

SERIOUSLY! We haven't had Bertholdt in an entire season and the first few episodes he shows back up, he's suspicious as hell! I have my eyes on him! Maybe he's jealous that Reiner and Connie are bonding? Hmm. And YES! Where is Jean in all of this?! As interim President of the Jean Kirstein fan club, I am missing our dude! I'm sure he and Erwin have something outrageous planned...or so I hope. I can't wait to see how it's all going go down this season. And yeah, RIP Nanaba and Gerger -- we knew you too few. Definitely toasting them!

I was so focused on all the things that were happening that I haven't notice that we didn't get one little thing of Jean. Where is my boy? Is he okay? 'How suspicious can you be?' Berthold: Yes The amount of times I have to grin during your discussion, especially this season, is insane. It's just so interesting to hear all your theories. I actually have more emotions towards Nanaba and Gelgar than the Levi squad even though we spend more time with them. And here we have another really disturbing death. We don't really get to see anything about the side characters and how their lives were but, as painful as it was, I loved that we get a little bit of insight that Nanaba came from an abusive household. Season 2 really came with the traumatizing deaths. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Right?! Where is Jean? And Erwin? My mind is telling me that something HUGE is planned with them, but I guess we'll find out...I mean, why else wouldn't they be there? Hmmm...maybe Jean and Annie confrontation?! No spoilers, but I'm excited to see what happens! I do miss him, though, in season 2 so far. And* BERTHOLDT SUSPICION INTENSIFIES* I cannot imagine how my theories sound to you all that have seen and read the anime and manga! Ahhh, it's going to be fun to look back on what I thought and how they all changed. And right?! There's something about Gelgar and Nanaba that made me definitely connect more than Eld or Gunther...they're right up there with Petra and Oruo for me, and we only had an episode or two with them! But yeah, so far, not as many deaths...but way more gruesome and meaningful, perhaps. Thanks for the kind words and have a great day, too!
