I've had these on-the-edge-of-retro OVA's saved for a looooong time, and since I hit a subscriber mark on YouTube, I decided to celebrate watching these OVA's, and I'm so glad I did! This was sweet, hilarious, and I'm curious to know your thoughts, too!

Tight Rope is an 6 chapter manga released in 2007. Unfortunately, many of the BL anime, especially the older ones, that you'll find did not have BIG budgets for the art, animation or OST, so they they many seem old school and very simplistic. As you know I have a thing the VAs Naoki sounded familiar to me so I looked up his VA, who is Tachibana Shinnosuke. He voiced Yaku from Nekoma in Haikyuu, He also voiced several other characters in BL anime -Hitorijime My Hero, 6 Lovers and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, plus many other non BL anime. Ryuunosuke is voiced by Suzuki Tatsuhisa, who also voiced Tachibana Makoto from FREE.

OH, wow, so really short, then! Despite it having an old school and simplistic feel, I actually thought this was fun and sweet! And WOW, Ryu's voice actor is Mako?! Now, I need to go back and re-watch to see if I can hear Mako, haha!! And ahhhh, I can actually get Yaku and Naoki sharing a VA! Interesting! Thanks for that info! :3

Wooow. I haven't watched these ovas in literal years. I watched them along with Junjou Romantica and other BLs. I forgot what it was about and I never imagined you watching them 🤔👀. I'm glad I got to relive the experience with you and laugh at the antics again!

Yessss, these were recommended on my old YT channel way back when I was reacting to Given, and I saved them on my computer, figuring I would get to them eventually, haha! I'm glad I did, though! I'm a sucker for a Yakuza story and a BL series, and this did both, while still being funny and sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks!!
