 What a way to be halfway through a season, right?! This episode had triumph, heartbreak, amazing action and music, and there's parts of this episode I am SO HYPED FOR (mainly that Levi and Eren have FINALLY met face-to-face), but parts I'm also still in denial about...there's just no way...  

...and we're only halfway through season ONE! **nervous laughter**

This episode went over my head there was too much happening lol and Levi and Erwin two of the most badass characters have entered!

Yeah don't worry about 13.5, it's just a big recap! Also, not everyone is as good as Mikasa and Ian when it comes to killing Titans lol, most of them are still just graduating cadets. I totally understand where you're coming from though, I was thinking the same thing the first time I saw this episode.

There was SO MUCH HAPPENING -- I haven't had time to process or grieve, and I hate it! Uhmmmm, but yeah, I'm soooo happy we're finally getting Levi and Erwin into the story! :D

Thank you! I decided to watch it before episode 14 -- it'll be nice having a refresher after SO MUCH has happened in these first 13 episodes. @_@ And that's a fair point; I forget not everyone is an Ian or Mikasa in the field! RIP Ian. T_T

Halfway through season one and there's still soo much to go through lol Poor Marco and Ian :( this really sets the tone that no one is really safe in this world. This was never stated in the show but Isayama (the author) clarified that Levi is in his early 30's! Can't wait for your theories in the upcoming episodes ;)

UHGG you’re my favorite reactor😄. I love all your reactions and seeing you watch this show for the first time is hilarious 😭. I can’t wait til you’re finished bc you literally haven’t seen anything yet! It’s just so exciting watching you love it this much when it’s barely started bc you’re really gonna be swept off your feet. ALSO NO THATS NOT CONNNIE (he’s my favorite character for reasons i can not explain 🤷🏾‍♀️(also i hope no one thinks this is a spoiler it’s more of a clarification) Anyways lol, i was gonna comment about the plot but it seems other people already said what i was going to say. I wanna suggest maybe making a character ranking chart video at the end of every season because it would be a good recap on how you feel about all of these characters (also an interesting thing to look back on for you)

I'm usually not someone who gets crazy emotional watching anime (though I've been proven wrong since I've started reacting), but I have a feeling with this show that I'm going to get invested in characters and feel the impact when they die. I had an inkling back in Episode 5 that Marco was going to die, but his death here was REALLY hard on me...thinking for days later, hard. Ugh. This show! **goes out to stock up on tissues**

YES! I feel we've covered SO MUCH GROUND with this season so far...and there's still three and a half seasons to go, hahahaha! And MARCO! T_T Yes, no one is safe, but I'm so sad...and Levi in his early 30's! What a revelation! Thank you for the kind words!! I'm so ready (albeit terrified) for the episodes to come!

Oh, thank you so much for the kind words! This show has already won me over, and we're only halfway through the first fourth! @_@ I don't know how to feel about that! And thank you for the clarification!! I have just watched Episode 14 (still need to edit) and saw Connie in the new OP, so that gave me hope! :D And thank you for not spoiling! I love that idea! I either want to do a season's end livestream or recap video (a livestream might get spoilers involved..so...still not sure on that) and I would love to do a character ranking for the end of the season! That would be great to look back on, too! Thanks for the idea!! :)

One moment you're happy for Ian and the next one he's already dead. But at least he could see that he made a good decision. And there goes my favourite ship already. When Jean saw the corpse it broke my heart. And how he tried to find someone who saw how he died. I just want to take him in my arms. We got to see every death from characters that had even just a little bit of screen time and we're not getting to see Marco's? I was so shocked. What I can say is that a lot of different things will come back sooner or later in the story. That's something that I really love about this show. Everything somehow connects together. I can't believe Marco's dead already. And we didn't get to see his death -- I've re-watched this episode at least three times to try and pinpoint or find a sign he was going to die, but nope. Just the aftermath. I wanted to just hug Jean so bad when he started looking for someone that saw him die. T_T That has been one of the most shocking moments with this series so far. At least Ian could see his plan wasn't in vain, and that's what I'm really excited with this show -- that it's alllll going to come back around and connect!
