Nezumi may have been right, in that the Correctional Facility changes people...or perhaps reveals who they really are.

Things escalate like CRAZY in this episode, as Safu's rescue comes to a head and our precious, innocent Shion is pushed to his breaking point...is there any coming back from this, though?! The tension in this episode....and our poor boys.... @_@

Thank you for watching with me and for the support!

I don't cry very much when watching things, but I actually cried when Nezumi was on the ground in anguish after watching Shion do something so uncharacteristic. And the sewing needle! SO freakin dark and bone chilling. Though it's only fitting that even posthumously Safu's grandma helped reunite Shion and Safu. I also agree about Rikiga and Inukashi raising that kid as a platonic pair of parents is a sweet idea. I haven't read the manga in yeaaaars so I'll be interested in the soap box when you compare and contrast because, frankly, I've forgotten XD.

I never noticed that it was the knitting needle and I don't even want to think about what it means for the grandma. I agree that Inukashi and Rikiga being the platonic parents of the kid would be cute. The whole thing with the "switched" personalities was so well done. How it started lightly with Shion doing everything in a fast pace and Nezumi worrying more and more. The animation in that last scene was amazing. Since Shion was so out of it after Nezumi got hurt I'm really afraid of what could happen next. I agree, I think they resolved the whole Shion killed a person thing way too fast. When Nezumi was on the ground crying because he feels like it was his fault that Shion killed someone broke my heart. It doesn't matter in what show, Hosoyan voices painfull scenes so good. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I'm really excited to get into the manga and see what is changed/added/altered, but oh my GOSH -- the sewing needle was just so dark and chilling, indeed! I agree, it's fate to help them connect, but the implicationsssssss..... @_@ And I felt SO bad for Nezumi in this episode! He was afraid of exactly this: Shion changing or revealing what's been deep inside him this whole time, and I hate that he has to watch Shion do something so awful and not be able to stop or change anything...Nezumi has, for all his ruthless talk, not killed anyone I don't think in the series, but then we have our innocent Shion taking a life AS SOON as Nezumi is threatened....I just want our boys to be safe! T_T And Rikiga and Inukashi being parents to this orphan; wouldn't that be nice? :) Thanks for the comment!

The knitting needles was disturbing and I don't want to think about those implications, either! Instead, I'll think about Inukashi and Rikiga platonically raising a baby in the apocalyptic wasteland, haha! And yesssss, Nezumi's slow transition throughout the episode in realizing how Shion was taking charge and slowly "adapting" to the harsh environment of the correctional facility...it was his worst fears realized. And meanwhile, Shion is hyper-focused on rescuing Safu and doesn't see what's happening to himself. SO well done! Ahh, that animation was so smooth! And yes, up until the ending with Shion taking Nezumi up to Safu, everything was well-paced -- that ending, though, felt a little rushed to get them to Safu, so I am excited to see how the manga handles it. And YES, Hosoyan does such a great job with Nezumi -- the pain in his voice was palpable! T_T Thank you for the comment and have a great day, too!
