Okay, so my heart melted with these last few episodes! Not only were they funny, sweet, and wholesome, but there was some sadness with Cheng and Wangji as well! @.@

But who are we kidding? The WANGXIAN moments, y'all. The WangXian canon material this show delivered! These episodes have built and built, and this set was a perfect way to conclude this adorable series! :3 I'm so glad I watched it!

And now for the Audio Drama/Manhua/ and NOVEL! FINALLY! ^^

I guess ep 24 jumps straight to postcanon. 23 was still Xinglu Ridge arc where Wei Ying "hides his identity" and after that, well. M A R R I E D. Night-hunting together, caring for Jin Ling, teaching juniors (oh wow that was a bit spoilery one, don't ponder on it... OR DO), visiting family, living together in Cloud Recesses on Qiren's leave, going on a date! Jiang Cheng's troubles with women! Maybe he really, really doesn't want it to be a marriage full of quarrels. Even if his parents did love each other after all as I personally believe, it was a bumpy ride... and he's probably too afraid to deal with something like it. May he persevere! THE LAST ONE. Yep, Wangji speaks in Gusu dialect like Wei Ying pestered him to do all those years ago, just like loquat seller girl (the same one!) did. Wei Ying probably doesn't understand a word (or does he, our little gremlin) but loves the sound and the fact he's so spoiled. Oh he does know he's loved, he does.

And ahhh, I feel so badly for Cheng -- his reasoning is so understandable. He doesn't want a wife just to quarrel with...I just want him to be happy, though! :3 May he persevere, indeed! And yesssss....THE LAST ONE. The pure softness of Wangji was HEAVENLY! I just can't take it! And yesss, I'm sure WuXian knows he's loved, but him getting Wangji to dote more on him? This was just magical! <3
