So the old Principal's T-Shirt in the manga says "The Jimi Hendrix Experience." Jimi Hendrix would have been at the height of his fame right about the time Prinicpal Gakuganji was a young man. It's ironic that a fan of rebellious, anti-authoritarian rock 'n roll would become the traditionalist leader of the Conservative Faction in the sorceror world, but at least it seems he hasn't forgotten how to rock.
