NEW REACTION LINK: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/KRJgqd3NRFktAua36MAhWP?

This episode defied so many expectations, was SO satisfying in many regards, but still managed to crank the anxiety to an ELEVEN. Banana Fish, why am I not surprised?

The symbolism, Dragon Moon's desperation, the chase and connections, and one helluva Night at the Museum! Happy Valentine's Day?!

Thank you for watching the full length reaction and for the support!

A cornered wounded animal is always the most dangerous. Eiji had decided he'll no longer allow Ash to sacrifice himself for him, and now he is stepping up trying to protect Ash. Granted Eiji really does not have the strength (power) to truly protect Ash. Not sure not telling Lao is a good thing. He may still see Ash as the person who killed Shorter. And he may not see the same value that Sing and Cain see in keeping Ash alive and safe.

Yes! That museum scene, with Ash dashing around like a lynx with the knife in his mouth?! The lighting, the tension? *chef's kiss* And poor Eiji -- he has the desire to protect Ash, but he's just not been trained by a professional Assassin or had the time in this world that Ash does. STILL, the symbolism of Eiji shooting Golzine on the shoulder opposite of Ash back in Episode 5? Poetic Cinema! And yeah, Lao makes me a bit nervous...he seems loyal to Sing as his step-brother, but yeah, I don't see him valuing Ash like Sing and Cain do!
