Hey everyone,

So obviously after the last update I have been taking it easy and don't have anything to show just yet. I've been compiling bugs and doing a little bit of breakdown on what I want to work on next.

My todo list has a large chunk of elements that were bumped off because they were too difficult or bug ridden. I'm going to clear out the list and see what is worth keeping and what is no longer viable.

I'll also start planning out the next steps. As I've mentioned it will be side stories, character relationships and that sort of thing. I might be doing a short tools update so I can make that process a little smoother. I want to get some better templates working for a few things to just ease up the workflow. This would make side quests a bit easier especially if they share some basic elements (like find an item ext.)

I also need to start looking into a better way to organize some of the larger scene content. The main university grounds is a huge area that has a bunch of crossover content that makes it quite a complex space to work with. Also because of the complexity it takes awhile to load so I don't want new content to increase the complexity or load times.

I'm toying with setting up a secondary loading system so I can inject new content without de-stabilizing any of the existing content. In this case what it would do is load the scene then load in side content if it's relevant. The current save system simply turns elements on and off but it would be nice to not bother loading something that wasn't needed at the time.

This next week is going to be mostly planning and I'm going to start in on a little bug fixing for some bits and pieces. I'll likely push out a bug update in a week or two to just hammer down a few that have been flagged.

Next week I'll likely post about my plans going forward.
