Hey everyone!

I've been working on like a dozen different bits and pieces.

One interesting thing was an addition to the dialogue system to inject a little more randomness with some dialogue lines. Especially when you talk to the same character multiple times. This wasn't too difficult but I'm currently thinking about how this could be used/expanded to keep things feeling fresh.

I'm going to do a post probably next week chatting about the combat system. I've been looking at doing a minor re-design. It won't change structurally but I was wondering if I could create something so I could get the communities help in ballencing and keeping things fun. Something that would allow people to tweek health / basic stats would be usefull.

Obviously I can't create whole abilities that way but certainly damage and stats/functionality could be really helpfull in making sure it's not a grind but also not too easy. Might even be able to create some difficulty levels.

Might chat about a few items on my to-do list. I'm looking at a minor upgrade to the save game system so it's a bit easier to tell how much time has passed since specific events. Rather than just if they have past. This is hepful for stuff that happens like "the next day" sort of thing.

Some recent changes to the nightime mechanics have thrown up a bug where you get out of bed. Have an accident. Then climb back in. Like it's usually not a problem because your character is asleap but I might need to keep the fade to black up a bit longer so you can't see what's happening :D

I need to adjust the comments system. I have a bunch of comments I'm read to add in but the system is a pain in the arse and requires like equal numbers of mean/nice comments. So I want to just add them without caring if there are equal numbers.

I want to add some NPC's to the town as well as add to existing NPC's a Mean or Nice value so you can have a mix rather than having to switch between one or the other. I still need to get some ways to earn money along with more stuff to spend it on.

I have alot to do and I'm going to get back to work!

Having expensive items to save up for is usually a good motivator. Maybe dorm room items (themes, storage space), stats-boosting textbooks, and renting an off-campus room or house to spend money on?
