Finally, I completed this small and at the same time, a large weight map. I tried to use the capabilities of the engine to the maximum, but the size began to exceed 2GB. I had to compress almost all the texture diffs in DXT1 but all the normal maps remained unchanged. I used cubemaps 256x256 (which is the default maximum). I used ssbump for walls, bricks became much more voluminous and more realistic.

I made a card for both Garry's Mod and SFM, but I’m afraid that the SFM 32 bit application will not be relevant, it already takes up almost all available memory. To do this, I made a separate model of the room itself (to do without a map). She is called "room_shell.mdl" so she also has a body group with dirt on the walls, ceiling, etc.

For Garry's Mod, I came up with 6 room options (all on one map at once). Three versions with darkness outside the window and three versions with a standard skybox. There are versions without lighting and there are versions without lighting and without models (you can arrange everything yourself.

Also, if you use the Gmod context menu, you can change the variations of pillows and blankets on the bed (see screenshots). I highly recommend using the x64 version of Garry's Mod !

Amazing map for posters!

I might have overdone it by making uncompressed textures. The map itself very quickly takes up all 3GB available for a 32-bit application ...

how to make the same lighting? just like in the screenshots

???? this is the same map, there is already lighting and other versions are located nearby where there is no lighting.
