These performances were used as teasers for the show and then in the first episode. The attendance of the other groups was kept a secret, for the most part, from the other participants until the day before, when all but Bom were revealed (you should call her Bom or Park Bom instead of just Park, since Park is the family name). Park Bom was the lead vocalist of 2NE1 and consequently by far the most senior singer out of them all (debuting in 2009) as well as held in unbelievably high regard by others. AOA debuted in 2012 (as an 8 member group with a full band unit), Mamamoo and Lovelyz in 2014, Oh My Girl in 2015 and Idle of course in 2018. The respective debut times are hugely important for how they are then treated, all part of the culture of being respectful to your seniors etc. Just you wait, though - these are just teasers. The performances start off fully with some groups going hard but others not quite realising how much they could be doing on the stage/how much freedom they actually have to put on their own show. Come the second round, everyone is on fire and do not look back.
