Originally a song from Alejandro Sanz, a Spanish superstar with one of my most favourite voices. Here is the original https://youtu.be/Z98hPSBS8ek Jonghyun of course did it justice.

Ghost

Technically this was Jonghyun's first solo song back in 2008 (this performance was from 2012). It's a great example of how into his craft he is- so many people just sing words but when it comes to music, Jonghyun is in to every aspect 1000%). It took 5 days to record the studio version apparently to try and capture the raw emotions present in the original song. The lyrics are completely different from the original but I believe still inspired by the same theme. A lot of singers have been covering Jonghyun's Korean version recently as well.

Ghost

I don't know why but this made me think of something Jonghyun said on Blue Night in 2015: "I’ve had many vocal teachers, one told me that people won’t listen to my songs because of my voice. I’ve heard such things. At that time I wasn’t even discouraged – but I thought 'you shall see what I’ll become' and, on the contrary, I was spurred." I'm always shocked when people say they don't like the way Jonghyun's voice sounds... it damn gorgeous to me. Thank y'all for appreciating him. <3

Yen

He is the most passionate singer I've ever seen. I think that's partly why he is a great lyricist! He really pays attention to them and conveys his message 100% with raw emotions. He's a very convincing performer. Our bling bling! 🤩

As a Alejandro Sanz fan, i fell in love with this instantly. Obviously because I loved Jonghyun's performance as well, but he really did the original justice . There's a mix online of both songs that just sounds amazing. Jonghyun always knew how to convey emotions so clearly with his music. I know it's cliche to say, but he just genuinely did it in a way that you could just FEEL it.

They don’t have good taste. Uri Jjong’s vocal is the best. When Replay came out, he was the one that caught my eye and my heart. I knew he was going to be my forever no 1. No one can replace him.

Ericka

A performance that continues to make me tear up every time i watch it. Jonghyun has this amazing ability to take you with him on the journey through his music. It's more than a song with him its a entire experience.
