Chapter 55 – Upper Yard Survival Game

A small group of Shandians were quickly making their way through Upper Yard on their Dial Skates, following one of the Milky Roads deeper into the towering forest. Wyper had ordered the twenty warriors that had come for this final battle to split up so that they wouldn’t all be caught in a single trap or one of the ‘Trials’ of the remaining two vassals.

“BAA!!!”

“The hell?” One of the three men looked around at the sudden noise.

“What was that?!” The second Shandian asked.

“Above!” The third called out in warning. “GAH!!!” Only to be cut down by the Divine Soldier that dropped down from above.

“Who is that?! What did you do?!” The first Shandian demanded, aiming his rifle at the goat-like man.

“Heso!” The Divine Soldier greeted the two Shandians.

“A Divine Soldier!” The second Shandian declared.

“Correct! Almighty Enel has ordered Upper Yard to be purified of you scum, baa!” The Divine Soldier held up his gloved hand, making a palm facing the two Shandians. “We are his Elite, the fifty Divine Soldiers! There’s nowhere to run! Now, taste the power of a Dial so rare that it can’t be found in Skypiea…Axe Dial! Baa!”

“You’re dead!” The first Shandian fired his rifle at the Divine Soldier.

The Divine Soldier blasted around the Milky Road in a blur, dodged the shot and was upon the first Shandian in a second. “Hah! Far deeper! Far sharper! Baa! Axe Dial!” He thrust his palm forward.

“Ugh!” The Shandian raised his shield to block.

“Your shield is useless!” The Divine Soldier roared as the shield split cleanly in half and a deep laceration burst open on the Shandian warrior’s torso, blood flying through the air.

“Bastard!” The remaining Shandian fired repeatedly at the Divine Soldier.

“Baa!” The Divine Solider dodged most of the shots, but one went through his side as he got in close. Blood flew from the hole in his torso, but his palm slammed into the hastily raised shield. “Axe Dial!”

The shield split cleanly, as did the rifle behind it, a bloody wound was cut into the Shandian warrior and he joined his two tribesmen on the forest floor.

“Mmmnnngghh.” The Divine Soldier held his new injury with a grimace. He’d need to get patched up to continue the purge of the intruders on Upper Yard.

Seventy-Five Remain

-Luffy-

“Oh, the islands in the south are warm... And their heads get really hot... They grow-a pineapples... They grow-a coconuts... And they're all morons!” Luffy sang as he wandered through the forest, occasionally swatting something with his stick as he walked along without much of a care.

Above him, on one of the winding Milky Roads, a Divine Soldier heard his singing. “Baa!”

“A goat?” Luffy perked up, looking around. “That sounded like a goat… A sky goat?!”

“BAA!!!” The Divine Warrior dropped like a meteor towards Luffy, his palm outstretched to use his Axe Dial and kill the Blue Sea dweller.

BAM

The Divine Soldier’s face warped around Luffy’s fist. His head turned as the blow rocked him, and then his body flew away from the force of the punch. The goat-like man hit a tree branch, bounced, slammed into the trunk of the same tree, bounced, and then crashed into a heap on the large roots of the tree unmoving.

“Man… I was all excited about seeing a sky goat! What a letdown…” Luffy grimaced at the defeated Divine Warrior. The man was clearly unconscious, being that his ‘voice’ had disappeared, or he could be dead… Luffy didn’t bother to stick around and check. He merely continued on his path and continued his song. “The islands in the north are snowy... And their heads get really cold... They're very chilly-chilly... They're very willy-nilly... And they're idiots!”

Wyper looked down at Luffy from atop a large root as the pirate walked by on the ground. Luffy, having sensed him shortly after resuming his song, looked up at the Shandian warrior.

“What the hell are you doing here?” Wyper demanded; a fierce glare directed at Luffy.

“It’s you again.” Luffy blinked at Wyper.

“I warned you to get off this island.” Wyper spoke with a barely restrained growl.

“Shut up! What me and my crew do is none of your business!” Luffy replied strongly.

“It is our business. This island belongs to the Shandians!” Wyper declared with a fierce glare.

“Really?” Luffy blinked at the other man’s claim. “I was told it belonged to the God guy.” He bowed slightly to Wyper. “Excuse me.” Then he started walking away, as if he was just going to walk off the Shandians’ property.

“WAIT!!!” Wyper barked at the pirate.

“What?!” Luffy looked over his shoulder at the berserker.

“No. I have nothing to say to you.” Wyper changed his mind and cocked the bazooka-like weapon in his hands. “There’s no point in discussing this further. I’ll just take you down.

“So, that’s how you want to play it?” Luffy grinned as he tossed his stick aside. “Now you’re speaking my language!” A fight was nice and simple. Luffy liked it when things were simple and easy to understand.

BANG

Wyper fired a round from his bazooka at Luffy.

“This again?” Luffy snatched the shot out of the air. “That won’t work!” He threw it back at Wyper with even greater speed.

“Nngh!” Wyper blasted off the root he was on and circled around, both to dodge the returned shot and to try to take Luffy’s back.

BOOM

The first shot exploded against a tree behind were Wyper had been standing.

BANG

Wyper fired at Luffy’s back, btu Luffy wasn’t there when the shot reached his location.

“You’re kinda slow.” Luffy spoke up from behind Wyper, his hand grasping the Shandian berserker’s shoulder.

KRAKBOOM

Lightning crackled through the air as it passed from Luffy’s hand, into Wyper’s body, and then out into the surrounding area. The bright blue-white light would’ve been visible for kilometers if not for the dense forest surrounding them.

“En-Enel’s…power…?” Wyper hacked out as he fell to the ground, his body twitching from the residual electricity still inside him. His skin was burned as well, Lichtenberg scars running beneath his skin. As consciousness faded from Wyper, the warrior could only wonder how this Blue Sea dweller had the same power as the thrice-damned Enel.

“Hmm, maybe that was too much?” Luffy looked down at the fallen Wyper. He placed his hand on the Shandian’s back and waited for a moment. The beating of Wyper’s heart was slow, but it was steady. “Just knocked out, good, I wasn’t trying to kill ya!” Luffy grinned as he went and picked up his stick from earlier, before continuing on his path towards the ruins.

Well, he was still headed west, not south, but he was trying.

-Vivi-

“BAA!!!”

“BAA!!!”

“BAA!!!”

Three Divine Soldiers raced along one of the Milky Roads.

Heading down that same Milky Road from the opposite direction were three Shandian warriors.

In the middle was Nefertari Vivi, looking VERY annoyed.

“It’s the Divine Soldiers!” The Shandians roared as they prepared for battle.

“Kill the Shandians and the Blue Sea dweller! BAA!!!” The Three Divine Soldiers bellowed back.

“Will you people stop trying to kill me?!” Vivi’s eye twitched as shots rang out and the six combatants zig-zagged through the towering trees on their Dial Skates. Every few moments a bullet would pass through her body, knocking some sand off her form. When she wasn’t being shot, one of the goat-like men would get near her and split her body, seemingly with a wave of their palm.

BOOM

Bang Bang Bang

BAM

“BAA!!!”

“YAAH!!!

The whistling of an explosive shell coming at her finally snapped Vivi’s patience with the fighters. “Tirs El Rimal.” Sand rose up into a shield a good distance away from Vivi.

BOOM

The explosion knocked some of the sand away, but the rest quickly flowed outwards and captured all six fighters.

“Hey!”

“Baa!”

“What the?!”

“Get off!”

“What is this?!”

“Damn it, let go!”

Vivi wasn’t in the mood to listen. “Dafn Al Sahra’.” The six men were now cocooned in sand that was slowly squeezing them tighter and tighter as the pressure that Vivi exerted upon it increased. “Go to sleep.”

Crack

The sound of something breaking was loud, even muffled by the sand cocoons.

Vivi dropped the six men to the ground, alive, but unconscious from the pressure and pain that they’d been but under. With the current issue taken care of, she turned into sand and shot up high into the trees again, hoping to be able to spot the ruins this time.

-Robin-

The distant sound of explosions caught Robin’s attention as the fighting within the forest continued. The archaeologist looked over her shoulder towards the noise with wary eyes.

“Things seem to have gotten rather lively in the forest.” Robin mused as she came upon something else that caught her interest. “The ruins of an old hut.” Indeed, wrapped in the huge roots of a nearby tree, a stone hut was partially demolished from age and the roots themselves. “It’s been swallowed up by the forest. I wonder if the ruins of the main city fared better after all these years?”

“BAA!!!” A Divine Soldier landed heavily atop the old stone hut, shattering part of the edge as his Dial Skates impacted the stone. “A woman?” The goat-like man blinked at Robin. “This path leads towards the Almighty’s Temple! It is sacrilege to go any further, baa!”

“Get down from there!” Robin glared at the Divine Soldier. “You don’t seem to understand the historical significance of these ruins.”

“Huh?” The Divine Soldier looked at her like she was nuts. “Insolent wench!”

“What do you want with me?” Robin asked the man, fairly certain that she already knew.

“I will tell you!” The Divine Soldier stood to his full height. “By order of God Enel, the Shandians and you Blue Sea dwellers shall feel my Axe Dial,” He pointed his hand at her, palm facing Robin. “And be cleansed from Upper Yard!”

“Seis Fleurs…” Robin spoke as six copies of her arms appeared around the man’s body.

“Huh?!” The Divine Soldier gaped in shock at seeing the limbs sprouting from his own body.

“…Twist.” Robin gave the command.

Krunch

The Divine Soldier’s body was twisted in multiple directions all at once. The man might’ve been alright if it had only been in a single direction, though it would’ve been an amazing feat of flexibility. With his body twisting that same amount in multiple directions, something had to give…in this case, multiple somethings.

“Gack…ngngng…” The Divine Soldier foamed at the mouth as the arms dissolved into flower petals. The man’s limp body rag-dolled down the side of the stone hut ruin and laid on the dirt in a broken heap.

“What a horrible thing to do.” Robin muttered as she inspected the damage to the old ruin. She didn’t bat an eye at the horrible thing that she’d just done to the Divine Soldier though. After inspecting the ruin for a bit longer, Robin stood over the defeated Divine Soldier with a curious look in her eyes. “Let’s see…” Copies of Robin’s hands and arms bloomed around the man and quickly removed his gloves, revealing a Dial on his right palm, held by a simple strap. “Axe Dial, I believe you called this?” Her copies quickly divested the goat-like man of his Dial and Robin placed it into her rucksack for later examination. “I’m sure long-nose will be happy to inspect this Dial too.”

With her curiosity sated for the moment, Robin continued moving south towards the ruins that should be in the ‘Skull’s right eye’ as shown on the map.

-Going Merry-

A Ball Cloud floated away from the Going Merry, Nami smiling at it as she had been the one to create it with the Dial in her hand. “I think I’ve got this Ball Dial down pretty well. Let me try with the String Dial next!” She smiled at Mikita and Usopp as the blonde handed over the next cloud-based Dial. As soon as the apex of the shell was pressed, nearly-invisible strand of cloud spewed forth form it. “Wow! It really is almost impossible to see them! They’re like spiderwebs!”

“So, what’re you thinking, Usopp? Can you add them to Nami’s Climatact like she wants?” Mikita grinned at Nami wanting to give herself more options in battle.

“Maybe…” Usopp looked at the Ball Dial and then at the three sections of the Climatact that he’d made. “If I can figure out exactly which part of the Dial produces the effect, then it might be possible to work them into the Climatact without making it any larger.” He scratched the back of his head, confusion clear on his face. “The only problem is, I’m not sure how these Dials work at all. They’re almost like magic, you know?”

“Yeah, not gonna lie, I thought they might actually be magic. Kyahahaha!” Mikita laughed at the mysterious shells and their various powers.

“Would clouds work on the Blue Sea?” Chopper asked from up in the crow’s nest. “They work up here because we’re in the sky, right?”

“That’s a good point, Chopper!” Usopp pointed up at the reindeer. “Even if I can find a way to add them to the Climatact, would they even work once we get back to the Blue Sea?”

“Clouds exist on the ground,” Nami looked at Usopp like he was dumb. “We just call it fog. The only difference between clouds and fog is altitude.”

“Really?” Usopp blinked, not having known that. “So, all those times I ran through fog as a kid, I was running through a cloud?”

“Pretty much.” Nami nodded with a grin. “All it takes is the correct temperature, humidity, and pressure to make the water vapor in the air turn into tiny droplets or crystals.” The navigator gave a brief lesson on fog and cloud formation. “As long as I can control the temperature, I should be able to make the Cloud Dials work on the Blue Sea. They may not last indefinitely, like they seem to do up here, but even if they only last a couple of minutes, that should be enough for most fights.”

“Damn,” Mikita whistled at Nami’s mini lecture. “You’re really thinking ahead, huh?”

“I’ve got to. I’m definitely not the strongest on the crew after all.” Nami laughed as she continued to experiment with the String Dial.

“Well, I’m convinced!” Usopp declared with a bright smile. “Leave it to me, Nami! I’ll figure out how to make them work!”

“Thanks, Usopp!” Nami returned his smile with one of her own. “Make sure to have it done by the time we reach the next island!”

“WHY IS THERE SUDDENLY A SHARP DEADLINE?!” Usopp cried out at the arbitrary time limit placed on him out of the blue.

“Ladies! I’ve prepared a snack for you!” Sanji twirled out of the kitchen and headed straight for Mikita and Nami with a tray in his hand.

“Thank you, Sanji.” Mikita took one of the small bowls. “Potato balls? They smell good.”

“Ah~ Just to hear your praise makes it all worth it, Mikita-chwan!” Sanji soaked up the praise of his cooking skills like a sponge. “I lightly baked them, using a butter and sea salt mix to provide flavor. They can be eaten with a fork, spoon, toothpick, chopsticks, or even with just two fingers.” He smiled as Nami hummed in delight at the taste after trying her first one. “Filling, but not heavy, and their nutrition is perfect for a day of activity.”

“Sanji! I want some!” Chopper cried out from above, a bright smile on his face.

“Yours are in the kitchen!” Sanji waved Usopp and Chopper towards the open door.

“Woohoo! Chowtime!” Usopp cheered running up the stairs.

“Wait for me!” Chopper quickly shimmied down the mast and then headed for the kitchen to get his own snack.

“I’m kinda surprised that we haven’t been attacked yet, honestly.” Nami commented, keeping her Observation spread as far as possible.

“Same here.” Mikita nodded while looking out into the forest. “You can occasionally hear an explosion in the distance, but the forest swallows up the sound, so I can’t try and gauge the distance.”

Sanji narrowed his eyes as he gazed between the trees. “If anyone threatens lovely ladies in my presence, I’ll kick their asses!” He smiled suavely at Nami and Mikita. “You can always rely on me to protect you two!”

“SO GOOD!!!” Chopper and Usopp’s voices rang out from the kitchen, both apparently having tasted the potato balls that Sanji had made.

“Heh.” Sanji smirked slightly while pulling out a cigarette and flicking his lighter to light it. “I’ll watch forward until those two are done.” He headed towards the bow of the ship with a grin on his face. Cooking for his nakama and getting praise never failed to improve his mood. “Except that damn Marimo…of course.” Sanji chuckled as he took position next to the Going Merry’s figurehead.

Nami continued to try and understand the String Dial as she finished off her potato balls. The threads were strong, but light, meaning they’d be easy to miss for most people. According to Mikita and Chopper, they hadn’t felt them wrapping around their bodies until it was too late. It would be a great trap or even a way to potentially tangle up an opponent instantly if she could hit them with a large amount of the String Clouds all at once.

“Think we can find one of every Cloud Dial for you?” Mikita looked over at Nami with a grin.

“I just need a Milky Dial and that extinct Eisen Dial that Conis mentioned, don’t I?” Nami giggled as the two women leaned against each other, just enjoying their closeness. “Shouldn’t be too hard to find a single extinct Dial, right?” She joked with her lover.

“Couldn’t possibly be that hard.” Mikita waved it off as a trivial matter before cracking up. “Kyahahaha!”

-Ohm-

“Is this all you have?!” Ohm mocked the Shandians as he and Holy fought the group off.

“Tch, that damn sword!” Braham cursed as he saw how fluidly and easy Ohm was beating them back. The giant dog attacking with him wasn’t helping either. “He’s wearing sunglasses too, so my Flash Pistols aren’t helping much.” He looked at the large pistols in his hands.

“We need to slip past the dog and through his defense.” Kamakiri narrowed his eyes at Ohm and Holy forcing back five of their tribesmen all at once.

“They cover for each other too well.” Raki landed beside them for a second. “Every time I target the dog, the vassal defends it. If I target the vassal, then the dog attempts to close the distance and attack.”

“Can we lead the dog away then?” Braham questioned as the three of them blasted forward with their Dial Skates, or Dial Board in Kamakiri’s case.

“No, I’ve tried three time already.” Kamakiri shook his head, readying his spear. “Once the dog gets a certain distance away, it returns to the vassal’s side.”

“Kamakiri, help me keep the vassal’s attention. Braham, use that opening to blind the dog and take it out if you can.” Raki came up with a plan on the fly.

“As good a plan as any.” Braham nodded to his friends before breaking off with them and heading for Holy, firing his Flash Pistols over and over again at the large canine.

Raki fired two shots at Ohm, but the strange sword with its ever-shifting shapes blocked the shots. Kamakiri took the opening to shoot forward at speed on his Dial Board and lash out with his spear. The weapon made a loud ‘clang’ as it hit the white clouds that made up the sword.

“You think that you can fool my Mantra?” Ohm scoffed at Kamakiri, the cloud sword shifting to form a sharp crescent blade to cut the Shandian warrior down.

Bang Bang Bang Bang

Four quick bursts of rifle fire forced Ohm to shield and let Kamakiri land a glancing blow against Ohm. The Dial Board then blasted air into the Sky Breeder’s face from the two Wind Dials attached to it, distracting him for a split second and letting Kamakiri make distance.

“Thanks for the save, Raki.” Kamakiri caught up with Raki as they both sped around Ohm while their tribesmen attacked to keep the pressure on the vassal. “My strike was off though, I only cut him instead of running him through.” He grimaced at his failure to kill Ohm.

“Braham and the others are still drawing the dog away. We just need to take one of them down before they can try and regroup again.” Raki reloaded her rifle on the move. “Do you think you could get him if we can open up his back?”

Kamakiri tightened his grip on his spear. “I won’t miss twice.”

The two cranked up the power of their Wind Dials a bit and blasted off in separate directions again.

-Elsewhere on Upper Yard-

“You’re in the way!” Genbo shouted as he fired off a heavy iron ball at the charging Divine Soldiers.

“BAA!!!” Three of them were knocked aside by the projectile, spinning straight into the ground with sickening cracks, any limb that had ben hit by the iron ball flopping around, the bones within shattered.

Genbo was a rotund, bald Shandian warrior with a hat that somewhat resembled a chef's hat, but with dark yellow and white stripes on it. He wore a grass skirt, much like many of his comrades, and had a large belt with a big buckle hanging from over his left shoulder. His arms are covered by some sort of spotted animal fur that connected to the fur-lined gloves he was wearing. He wielded a large bazooka, but instead of the regular explosive shells that most of his tribesmen used, his fired heavy iron balls, made form years of collecting the said metal when it was blasted up into the White Sea and White White Sea by the Knock Up Stream.

“What an unusual bullet.” Yama ambled around the ruins that Genbo had been fighting the Divine Soldiers in. “Is that the Vearth mineral known as ‘iron’?” The Commander of the Divine Soldiers questioned as he faced down Genbo. “Such heavy minerals don’t exist in the clouds!” Yama’s eyes counted six of his Divine Soldiers broken and beaten on the ground around the area. “It seems that you’ve taken down many of my men.” He sneered at the Shandian in front of him. “You must be one of the Shandian’s strong men…Genbo.”

“Commander of the Divine Soldiers, Yama.” Genbo tsked at the larger man. In the blink of an eye he brought his massive cannon-like bazooka to bear. “Move aside!”

BOOM

The iron ball rocketed towards Yama, but the massive man didn’t try to dodge. Instead, he jumped upwards (far higher than Genbo would’ve ever thought such a heavy man could) and then kicked the iron ball right back at Genbo!

“Meriya!” Yama cried out as he sent the iron cannon ball rocketing back towards Genbo. The ball slammed into the Shandian and smashed him into a massive tree several meters behind his previous position.

“Gakgh! Why you…!” Genbo proved his own resilience as he maintained his consciousness even as blood flew from his mouth and dripped form his nose.

“Ten-fold Axe!” Yama charged towards the injured Genbo while holding the sash he wore in both hands. Now that it had been removed and flipped around, Genbo could see ten Dials attached to it, making it into a weapon.

“There’s no way I’m dying at YOUR hands!” Genbo declared mustering up all of his strength and flexing his muscles. The fat over his body covered the thick muscle beneath, belying just how strong and tough Genbo really was to the average onlooker. His body was like armor just by itself! “BRING IT, YAMA!!!”

“AXE MOUNTAIN!!!” Yama bellowed as he slammed into Genbo with his full weight, cracking the towering tree behind the Shandian. All ten of the Axe Dials on the sash clicked at the same time as they were pressed by Yama’s immense bulk. Slashes were left across Genbo and the tree as the Axe Dials activated.

Genbo felt as if dozens of blades had just cut into him as his blood went flying, painting the tree and the ground red. He slid down the damaged tree and then collapsed face first into the ground without a sound.

Yama backflipped away from the defeated Shandian warrior and reset his sash onto his torso when he landed. “What a pity. After coming all that way.” He scoffed at Genbo’s unmoving form. “BAA!!!” He unleashed a victory cry at taking down another enemy of God Enel.

-Zoro-

Coming upon a strange man in a dark purple suit and a single Divine Soldier was unexpected for Zoro. He dropped the injured Divine Soldier that he’d been using to guide him towards the ruins like a sack of rocks. “Led me into a trap, huh?”

The Divine Soldier had no idea that Gedatsu had set up here, but with all the pain he was in, unconsciousness sounded a lot better than trying to explain himself. Besides, they were right at the edge of the ruins now, so Zoro had actually gotten to where he wanted to go.

“So, who the hell are you?” Zoro questioned, drawing Yubashiri and Sandai Kitetsu.

Heso! I’m known as ‘Sky Boss’ Gedatsu! I’m a vassal that serves the Almighty Enel!’ Gedatsu introduced himself…in his thoughts.

“Master Gedatsu, you have to say it out loud…” The lone Divine Soldier let out a heavy sigh at having to constantly remind the vassal of the most simple and basic things.

“Ah! I forgot!” Gedatsu gasped in shock.

“What are you, some kind of idiot?” Zoro deadpanned at the man. “Well, whatever, you’re still one of these vassals, right? I’ve been hoping to fight one of you!”

“You won’t survive my Trial of the Swamp! It only has a fifty percent survival rate!” Gedatsu took a stance, the Divine Soldier also preparing to fight against Zoro.

“Fifty percent?” Zoro smirked. “That’s a lot better than what I’m used to!” he readied himself for battle, expanding his Observation and coating his blades with Armament.

Enel seems suspiciously absent, given that he said he would be part of the game too. One wonders what he might be trying to get done first, hmm?

Wyper fought Luffy…well, it wasn’t that much of a fight. Turns out touching lightning isn’t good for you! Now Wyper is unconscious and will have Lichtenberg scars for the rest of his life for attacking Luffy after having already seen what the pirate was capable of.

At least Luffy was nice enough not to kill him, right?

Vivi is just tired of people from both sides trying to kill her! KNOCK THAT OFF, ALREADY!!!

Nami has plans for an upgrade to her Climatact and Usopp is ready to help! Wil Nami’s plans work out and make her even stronger, faster? Well, there’s a few Dial additions to her Climatact that could definitely help!

Nice chapter like always!

Redpyramid

I just don’t get it people see the hero’s power and ls like I can total take the with the lightning powers and is like hold my beer

Vanthebeard

Spider-Nami, Spider-Nami, does whatever a Spider-Nami does. I know those are still 'technically' clouds, but if Nami suddenly turns into a doflamingo knockoff I'll be sad. It's more fun watching her use various weather patterns to outwit her foes then pure strength, its why I don't like ussops pop greens. Will you be letting the gold used to build the maxim go? I'm pretty sure there's a guy at water 7 that would be SUPER happy with the blue prints, after all why should the sunny be limited to just shooting through the air instead of actual flight? I wonder how much their bounties would go up if Marejois knew they had a ship that could sail over the recline. Then again if they knew that, they probably wouldn't let it sit at sabaody for two years... holy crap my fanfic brain is active this morning.

Kairomaru

KEK! Many, many people are very overconfident...or just blame delusional in some cases.

Boss Redd

Really looking forward to the part where Robin beats up the fat man....well the fatter man

MAEGHT Maxime

Good chapter and it's prove my point that Ener army are nothing more than a glorified crew.

Kairomaru

A crew he doesn't give two shits about, because of his God Complex, of course.

Christian Jeffress

Thanks for another fun and wildly entertaining chapter

Tempest

I have a question is luffy going to take Enel gold staff

Kairomaru

If he doesn't, Nami will! lol Even if Luffy takes it, it would probably be to give to Nami and make her happy.

Tempest

But don't you think it would be a good weapon for luffy he can super heat the gold staff and change its into a spear or trident like Enel did

Kairomaru

Luffy has no need for it and no experience with using any form of weapon other than the pipe he used as a staff when he was a kid. With his Haki and a Logia Devil Fruit, a gold staff is kinda pointless, isn't it? Better to give it to Nami and let her sell it for Beri or keep it for something else. There will be non-treasure spoils of victory after everything is said and done; but you'll have to wait to see what they are.

Tempest

Okay

Tempest

I have two more questions are you planning to do the davy back fight and what will happen with aokiji garp already called in the favour aokiji owns him in the first chapter
