Aura Heart Journey Chapter 31 (Patreon)

Chapter 31 – Return to Cerulean City

The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky a myriad of colors as it did so. Ash and Misty rode their Gogoats towards the arch that marked the entrance to Cerulean City. If they hadn’t let their Gogoats run at full speed for a while again they may not have made it back before nightfall. As the couple passed under the archway, they directed their Ride Pokémon to the left and headed down a wide street. They could already see the top of the Cerulean Gym in the distance.

“Home again,” Misty smiled at the building as they dismounted from their Gogoats and returned them to their Pokéballs. “Won’t my sisters be surprised?”

“Maybe,” Ash shrugged as they headed around towards the back of the building to the residential part of the large Gym. “But it’ll be a good surprise.”

Misty took out her key and unlocked the door for them. The duo entered the home of the Sensational Sisters, and closed the door behind them. They both kicked off their shoes and stepped into the entryway proper. With a quick grin at each other, Misty inhaled before announcing their presence.

“We’re home!” Misty yelled and there was the sound of a thump before voices could be heard.

“Welcome home, Misty, Ash!” Daisy called back with a laugh.

“We weren’t expecting you two to be back tonight!” Violet called out, possibly from the kitchen.

“Hugs!” Lily careened around the corner and rushed the two teens. The pinkette’s arms wrapped around her little sister and her future brother-in-law. She pulled them close and hugged them warmly with a bright smile on her face. “Welcome home, you two!”

“Thanks Lily.” Ash patted her back with a chuckle.

“Good to be home.” Misty hugged her older sister back.

The two were brought to the kitchen to receive hugs from Violet first. Then they were ushered into the living room to get their welcome hugs from Daisy. After greetings were done, Ash and Misty sat on the couch with Lily and Daisy. Conversation about what they’d been up to on their travels over the last few days started and Violet joined in after putting dinner in the oven.

“Should we show them?” Misty asked coyly with a grin.

“Why not?” Ash played along with a chuckle.

The two brought out there newest Pokéballs and expanded them. In a flash of white light, two Eevee materialized on top of the coffee table. Ash’s Eevee sparkled as it was released from the Pokéball. Both of the Normal types blinked, before using their senses to get their bearings about their new location.

“They’re so cute!” Violet squealed happily at seeing the duo of Eevee.

“You caught a Shiny Eevee?!” Daisy looked at Ash in shock. “How lucky are you, Ash?!”

“Come here you little cuties~” Lily cooed as she held out her hand to the Normal Types. The two were slow to approach the pinkette, but once they’d sniffed her hand and gotten a feel for her Aura, they both allowed Lily to pet them. “So soft~!” She giggled as she pet their fluffy fur.

In short order the two Eevee were being spoiled rotten by the attention and affection of the elder sisters. Ash’s Eevee was lying on his side letting Daisy rub his tummy. Misty’s Eevee was happily nuzzling into Violet and Lily’s touches, the female Eevee’s tail wagging happily as she enjoyed the attention. Ash couldn’t help but chuckle at how quickly the two Normal Types had taken to the sisters.

“Oh, idea!” Daisy perked up suddenly. She turned her head towards the door leading to the Pokémon living area, sending her long, blonde locks swaying from the sudden motion. “Vaporeon, come here please!” The eldest sister’s blue-eyes were alight with happiness.

“Vay?” Vaporeon walked through the automatic door and stopped dead when she saw the two small Eevee in the room.

Both of the Eevee perked up at the sight of one of their evolved forms. The three Pokémon stared at each other for a long moment. Carefully, Vaporeon moved forward. She sniffed at the two Eevee gently, getting return sniffs from the Normal Types. After their familiarizing with each other, Vaporeon hopped up onto the coffee table and practically wrapped herself around the two Eevee. She began to lick at their fur gently and nuzzle the smaller Pokémon softly.

“Cute~” All four sisters cooed at the sight. Daisy, Violet, and Lily all took out their phones to record the adorable sight of Daisy’s large Vaporeon mothering the smaller Eevee duo.

The three Pokémon happily stayed on top of the coffee table while the TV was turned on. While waiting for their dinner in the oven to cook, the humans would watch a show together. Every now and then, one of them would lean forward to gently pet the three Pokémon softly. It was a warm and cozy evening with all the joys of home.

Dinner that night was roasted Pidgey from a local farm. The seasoning was splendid and it had been cooked to perfection, remaining tender without drying out. The veggies they had with it were nice, steamed to perfection with just a bit of butter and salt. The two Eevee had sat near Ash and Misty’s feet and simply stared up at them with their big, emotional eyes. The two had caved quickly and given both of the Normal Types some of the roasted Pidgey meat. Happy with their success they’d moved onto Daisy, Lily, and Violet and received more meat from each of them too. Vaporeon had to corral the two out of the kitchen and onto the living room couch to keep them from repeating the cycle of begging.

Ash and Misty let their Pokémon out to play in the Pokémon Area of the Gym shortly after dinner. The family fed the large amount of Pokémon together and let all of the Pokémon meet the two newcomers. Both Eevee hid under Vaporeon for the first minute or two, but they eventually became confident and began to play with the other Pokémon happily. With the Pokémon taken care of for the night, the Sisters and Ash settled in for a relaxing evening.

“Can I borrow the video phone?” Ash asked and was given instant approval.

“You don’t have to ask, Ash, you’re family.” Daisy smiled at the amber-eyed teen.

“Thank you,” Ash returned her smile. “I’m just going to check in with my parents and show them Eevee.” With that he headed off to the Pokémon Area. He collected his Shiny Eevee and carried him over to the videophone with him. A quick dialing of his home phone number and in just a moment the face of his mother appeared on the screen.

“Oh Ash, it’s so good to see you again.” Delia beamed at her son brightly. She was almost glowing and Ash complimented her.

“I wanted you and Dad to meet my newest buddy,” Ash grinned as he showed her Eevee. “He’s Shiny.”

“Shiny and cute~” Delia cooed over the video call. Eevee sniffed at the screen and looked confused by the lack of scent. “Oh, you’re just adorable~”

“Vee!” Eevee looked proud of being called cute!

“Bruno, honey, come look at Ash’s newest Pokémon!” Delia called out for her husband. A few moments later and Bruno sat next to Delia to join the call.

“Well, I’ll be…” Bruno blinked in shock at the Shiny Eevee his son had managed to capture. “You don’t see one of those every day.”

“He kinda found me on Route Twenty Five near Bill’s Cottage.” Ash informed as he gently pet the Normal Type. “Misty and I were just having lunch when an Eevee came out of the tall grass. Misty quickly made friends with her Eevee and then this little guy came out of the grass not too long afterwards. A little food and we were buddies, right Eevee?”

“Vui!” Eevee wagged his tail happily and both Delia and Bruno chuckled at the adorable, little Pokémon.

“Be careful with Eevee, son,” Bruno advised with a serious look on his face. “There are many people that would try and pressure you to trade an Eevee. Some would simply try and steal him. The fact that he’s Shiny greatly increases those odds. Make sure he’s not out of your sight in public areas.”

“I know,” Ash sighed as he scratched his newest friend and teammate behind the ears. “I’ll make sure he’s trained and looked after properly. Whenever he chooses to evolve, we’ll make that happen, no matter which path he chooses to take.”

“That’s my son.” Bruno chuckled with pride in his eyes.

“Feel free to send Eevee over occasionally when you rotate your team, honey.” Delia encouraged him as she looked at the cute Pokémon again. “I’d love to pet the fluffy little one.”

“After some training I’ll let Professor Oak know to bring him to you when I switch out.” Ash laughed along with his parents. The three chatted for a bit longer before saying goodnight. Ash walked with Eevee back to the Pokémon Area and then headed back to the living room.

“Welcome back.” Misty grinned as Ash sat next to her. She leaned against him with a smile.

“Glad to be back,” Ash wrapped his arm around her waist and held her close. “What’re we watching?”

“Pokémon Contest from Hoenn, some of the combinations have been really nice.” Misty snuggled into him with a grin of contentment.

“Neat, it’s always amazing what some Coordinators come up with.” Ash got comfortable and proceeded to watch the contest as the next Coordinator was called up to the stage.

A few hours later and the five of them started getting ready for bed. Ash was the last to take a shower and changed into some simple pajamas of a t-shirt and lounge pants. He believed that he should be dressed as he walked from the bathroom to Misty’s room for the night. When he entered his girlfriend’s bedroom he saw her sitting on her bed, clad in pajamas of her own and with her hair down. Ash always thought Misty looked amazing, and with her hair down it only proved it to him.

“Lock the door, Ash.” Misty gave him a beautiful smile and Ash locked the door behind him without a second thought. She stood up as he walked over to her and the two gazed deeply into each other’s eyes. Misty placed her hands on his chest and their Auras entwined strongly. Ash’s eyes darkened with desire as he felt Misty’s desires through their Aura.

“Misty~” Ash breathed hotly as the two pulled each other close.

“Ash~” Misty whispered breathily as their bodies pressed tightly together.

-The Next Morning-

“Mmm~” Misty let out a pleased hum as she woke up. She was warm, comfortable, and in Ash’s arms. Everything was right with the world as far as she was concerned. She softly kissed his neck before pulling back a little. She giggled lightly as his arms reflexively pulled her back towards him. “Wake up, Ash.” She kissed his cheek.

“Hmm?” Ash blinked and looked at Misty for a second. The haze of sleep was still present in his eyes, but he leaned forward to kiss her lips softly anyway.

“Good morning to you too~” Misty smiled warmly at him.

“Good morning, Misty.” Ash finally cleared his head from sleep as he pulled her closer again.

“Last night was wonderful,” Misty gently rested her forehead against Ash’s. “I never knew it would be so intense.”

“I feel like I’ve known you forever and have forgotten more about you than anyone else could ever hope to know.” Ash tried to put the experience of Aura Bonding into words, but he still felt that he hadn’t done the experience any justice.

“I feel the same way,” Misty agreed with a pleased sighed. “I love you, Ash Ketchum.”

“I love you, Misty Waterflower.” Ash captured her lips in a sweet kiss as they expressed their love and affection.

They weren’t expecting to be interrupted by the knock on the door.

“I don’t mean to interrupt anything, but breakfast is already on the table if you two would like to join us.” Daisy’s voice called through the door.

Misty’s face almost went nuclear from how bad she blushed. In the passion of the moment, she hadn’t even considered that all three of her sisters would have felt their Auras flaring last night! She collapsed forward and buried her face into Ash’s neck. Ash felt his own face burn when he realized that Daisy, Lily, and Violet knew what he and Misty had done the night before. He hugged Misty and gently ran his hand up and down her back to comfort her and help her calm down.

“We should probably get a shower before we head down there, huh?” Ash murmured to Misty softly.

“Alright,” Misty sighed into his neck before leaving a soft kiss there. The orangette sat up and placed her hands on Ash’s chest. “I guess we should face the music. I really don’t want to though…”

“It’ll be alright, Misty,” Ash assured his lover with a warm and encouraging smile. “Your sisters love you and support our relationship.”

“I know…it’s just embarrassing that they know.” Misty pouted and Ash couldn’t help but laugh at the adorable look on her face.

“Want to share a shower again?” Ash questioned.

“I could be convinced.” Misty admitted with a devious smile.

They didn’t get to breakfast for twenty more minutes.

“Good morning lovebirds~” Violet smiled teasingly at the couple as they walked into the kitchen together. Both were wearing the pajamas they’d discarded last night.

“Shut!” Misty pointed at her bluenette sister with a sharp gaze.

“We’re just happy for you, Misty~” Lily was the next to tease the youngest sister.

“Shut!” Misty turned both her pointing and staring onto her pinkette sister in turn.

“An Aura Bonding is a wonderful thing that should be celebrated,” Daisy spoke up from her place at the table. “You two are adorable and your love is real, you should both be happy.”

“Thank you, Daisy.” Misty smiled at her eldest sister.

“That being said, the littlest sister going first breaks some kind of rule, I’m sure.” Daisy laughed brightly even as Misty’s cheeks turned bright red again.

“Shut!” Misty leaned over the table to playfully swat at her sister.

“She can be a bit of a wild girl sometimes, Ash” Violet smiled at him. “But please take care of her.”

“She’s a bit of a tomboy, but your love is beautiful, so look after our little sister, okay?” Lily giggled and Misty quickly moved to try and swat both of them too.

“I’ll love her forever if she’ll have me,” Ash stated with dedication pouring form both his voice and his Aura. “I don’t plan to let her go.” He pulled a brightly smiling Misty into his arms and the two shared a loving kiss right in front of her sisters.

“Eat breakfast before you need to find a room again, you two.” Daisy laughed and both Violet and Lily followed suit.

“Shut!” Misty shushed them before kissing Ash again. This only prompted further laughter from her elder sisters though.

Breakfast was had shortly afterwards as Misty and Ash discussed their travel plans with Daisy, Violet, and Lily. When Misty brought up wanting to head to Vermillion City to visit their grandfather and have him meet Ash, the three older sisters all agreed it was a great idea. They could travel through Saffron City and see a few sights on the way. Since the Saffron Gym required a minimum of six Badges to challenge it, Ash would have to skip it for now.

“So if we head down to Vermillion to meet your grandpa, then I can challenge the Vermillion Gym. We can make a quick journey south to get to Cyanteal Town so that I can challenge the Dragon Gym and see about getting a Dragon Type too.” Ash plotted out the route they could take on the trip south.

“Then you’ll have six Badges and we can head north again to Saffron.” Misty agreed with a smile. “We can actually just make a straight line from Lavender Town to Celadon City and hit three Gyms in a row that way.”

“From Celadon you can take the Cycling Road down to Fuchsia City too, that’s another Gym.” Lily noted on their travel plan.

“Just south of Fuchsia City is the sea route made up of Routes Nineteen and Twenty.” Violet mentioned thoughtfully. “You can visit the Seafoam Islands and then head for Cinnabar to challenge old Blaine for the Volcano Badge.”

“After that, just head north up Route Twenty-One and you’ll be back in Pallet Town and can visit your family, Ash.” Daisy smiled at the Aura Guardian.

“It would be nice to see Mom and Dad face to face again by that time especially.” Ash smiled gently. “Though Dad might be back at the League at that time. You could still meet my Mom in-person.”

“I’d like that, Ash.” Misty took his hand in hers with a warm smile.

“Sounds like we have a travel plan then.” Ash kissed her cheek and Misty agreed with a laugh.

It finally happened! The two have consummated their relationship and now have a full Aura Bond with each other! So cute! Love is a wonderful thing!

Now we’ve worked out a bit of a travel plan for the future. We’ll Ash and Misty stick to it 100%? Maybe, maybe not, there are all sorts of things that can happen on their Journey through Kanto.
