So many Plot Bunnies! Clouding up my Brain again! Regardless, here’s another Quirk for the green-haired, cinnamon roll we all like! You ever wondered what would happen if you combined a Canon Quirk with a similar Power from a different series? Well that’s what I did! Capture is the name of the game for this Izuku! It’s not like Izuku can’t fight as well, but his Quirk is REALLY good at capture and restraint of Villains!

I hope you enjoy!

The Capture Hero!

“Well…this is unexpected.” Midoriya Izuku remarked as he and nineteen other teens stood on a training field at UA. It was literally the first day of class and instead of going to Orientation their homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota as he’d introduced himself, had them change into Gym Uniforms and come down here for a Quirk Apprehension Test.

“Not like it matters.” Bakugo, his childhood friend/rival/frenemy/bro whatever you wanted to call him, tsked as he stared at their teacher.

“Midoriya, you got the highest score on the Entrance Exam, step forward.” Aizawa instructed and Izuku chuckled as he saw a vein enlarge on Bakugo’s head from the reminder that Izuku had beaten his score.

“Yes, sir.” Izuku walked forward and was handed a ball with a black ring on it, the same size and weight of a softball.

“What was your best throw on the Softball Throw back in Junior High?” Aizawa asked.

“About sixty three meters, sir.” Izuku replied.

“Use your Quirk this time, just don’t leave the circle.” Aizawa instructed as he motioned toward a white circle on the ground with measurement lines on one side of it.

“Alright.” Izuku nodded as he made his way over to the circle. As he stood there he contemplated how best to use his Quirk. “Compression and release seems the best bet.” He nodded to himself as he held the ball in front of him.

“What’s he doing?” A girl with dark purple hair questioned.

“You extras should brace yourselves.” Bakugo snorted at the rest of the class as he dug his heels into the dirt a bit and stood with his arms crossed.

“What?” The rest of the students questioned in unison. There was a loud blast and the ball went rocketing away while a large cloud of smoke, or steam, maybe water vapor, rushed through the area sending several students stumbling. Aizawa, hidden amongst the clouds, had a look of nostalgia on his face. Midoriya’s Quirk was indeed similar to his and Mic’s old friend Oboro. They’d both thought so when watching over the Entrance Exams too. But seeing it up close and now being surrounded by it, Aizawa couldn’t help the memories that came about. He quickly schooled his face and looked at the measuring device as the clouds began to clear.

“It’s important to know your limits.” Aizawa said aloud and showed Izuku’s results to the class. The number on the measuring device read 710.4m.

“What the heck kind of Quirk does he have?” A blonde guy with a black lightning bolt shaped mark questioned. Izuku was revealed as the last of the clouds cleared away. His gym shirt had been blown open from the force of the burst he’d used, revealing a toned set of abs and pectorals. This caught the attention of the girls in class making all of them blush; though two girls in particular had different reactions than the others.

“Aww man.” Izuku sighed as he zipped up his gym shirt. “I almost broke the zipper; that was close.”

“Oh my~” The same dark purple haired girl remarked, lightly licking her lips. “Quite the impressive body.”

“I know, right?” A fawn haired girl with full, pouty lips commented from beside her. “He’s a snack and a half.”

“Seven hundred ten meters, huh?” Izuku nodded as he saw his distance. “Good luck beating that, Kacchan.”

“I’ll beat that easily you nerd!” Bakugo snapped back at Izuku.

“That was for the demonstration. We’ll start the other tests now and return to the Softball Throw in order.” Aizawa waved off.

“I wanna go, this looks fun!” The pink girl clapped her hands together.

“This is what I’m talking about! Getting to use our Quirks as much as we want!” A black-haired boy cheered.

“So, this looks fun, huh?” Aizawa questioned, quickly silencing the students. “You have three years at UA to become a Hero. Do you all think it’s going to be all games and playtime?” Seeing none of the students replying Aizawa continued. “Fools, today you’ll engage in eight physical tests to gauge your potential; whoever comes in last will be deemed to have ‘none’ and will be expelled immediately.” That got a round of gasps from all of the students.

‘Immediate expulsion for coming in last on this Apprehension Test?’ Izuku thought in shock at Aizawa’s words. That was beyond harsh.

“As I said, we get to decide how our classes are run. If that’s going to be a problem you can head home right now.” Aizawa stated as he pushed his long hair up out of his eyes and stared at his students. “Now let the games begin.”

-First Test ~ 50 Meter Dash-

Izuku watched as Iida and the girl with frog-like features took their places at the starting line. He was interested in seeing how his classmates did and what all of their Quirks were. Though he could tell at a glance that both Iida and the girl had Mutant Type Quirks. Their times were impressive though, Iida clocked in at just over three seconds and the girl at about five and a half seconds.

Watching his classmates run, and in some cases, use their Quirks in interesting ways to complete the Fifty Meters, really made Izuku wish he had his notebook right now. Ochako finished in just over seven seconds and seemed pleased with her result. The fawn haired girl and the pink girl both finished at just over five seconds. Though the pink girl appeared to be skating on some kind of substance coming from her feet, which Izuku thought was a good way to complete the test. Finally it was Izuku’s turn, and the universe seemed to want the rivalry to continue as he was paired with Bakugo.

“Good luck, Kacchan.” Izuku grinned at the ash blonde.

“You’re the one that needs luck, nerd.” Bakugo smirked as they both got into position. When the ‘go’ was given Izuku launched forwards in a burst of his cloud smoke and stayed almost dead even with Bakugo down the whole track. He clocked in at four point two seconds. Bakugo was grumbling when he came in at four point three seconds while using his explosions as thrusters. “Bull crap! Let’s go again, nerd! I’ll beat you easy this time!”

“No do overs.” Aizawa called out and Bakugo tsked as he and Izuku walked away from the track.

When it came to the Grip Strength Test, Shoji Mezo blew everyone else out of the water with an insane five hundred forty kilogram squeeze. Izuku had managed to get a good fifty two kilogram reading. Bakugo had grinned victoriously at his fifty three kilogram reading. Yaoyorozu Momo was easily the most impressive, score wise, as she created what seemed to be a miniature hydraulic clamp and it eventually maxed out the dynamometer.

The Seated Toe Touch Test had been challenging for Izuku. While he was flexible and could get a good score he didn’t have a way to go beyond what would be considered average. Even Bakugo wasn’t up for competing with this particular test.

The Standing Long Jump was next and Izuku smirked as Bakugo cleared the sandbox by almost double the length. When he stepped up the verdette smiled as he leapt with all his strength. While in the air a cloud formed under his feet and carried him across the length of the sandbox and kept going until Izuku directed the cloud to set him down at the other end of the large training field. All of the students looked on slack-jawed at Izuku who was jogging back.

“You cheap nerd!” Bakugo yelled at Izuku who was still jogging back. “That was bullshit and you know it!”

“Is that allowed?” A red haired boy asked.

“I mean…he did jump.” A purplette with long earlobes that ended in jacks remarked.

“He jumped…but then he basically rode a Flying Nimbus the rest of the way!” The black haired boy with the tape shooting elbows commented.

“I’ll allow it.” Aizawa spoke up. “It was a logical use of his Quirk.” Left unsaid were the memories seeing said application brought up in the man.

“Damn it!” Bakugo roared as Izuku was almost back.

The Repeated Side Steps were easy enough, though no one stood out overly much during this test. It did show the physical training some of the students had put in to compensate for their Quirk’s lack of physical enhancement. The girl with the long, dark purple hair actually got the highest score as she rapidly stepped sided to side and almost seemed to sway her hips along with the motion.

The Sit Ups Test was much the same as the repeated side steps. This time a larger guy with dark brown hair got the best score. He beat out the next closest person by ten extra sit ups.

In the Endurance Running Test Izuku and Iida eventually tied. Izuku didn’t actually run, just sat on his ‘Nimbus Cloud’ as the class had dubbed it and flew around the track over and over again. Aizawa had actually just told them both to stop after they’d gone on for so long that they were cutting into the classes’ time to finish the last test.

As Izuku had already done the Softball Throw Test he didn’t have to go again. Instead he was able to watch as his classmates came up with their own methods of getting farther throws, if their Quirks were applicable to the test, of course. Bakugo raged when he’d come five meters short of Izuku’s distance and grumbled at Izuku about how ‘This doesn’t mean anything’ for a while afterwards. Izuku was very impressed when Momo had created a functioning Cannon of all things and fired the ball out of it. Her score of three kilometers and change was well earned in his opinion. Ochako left every students jaw on the floor when she’d removed the effects of gravity from the ball and seemingly thrown it into orbit! Her reading came out as Infinity but Aizawa would only mark it as one meter further than Momo’s score.

“I’m just going to bring up the whole list. It’s not worth going over each individual score.” Aizawa informed the class as he clicked the device in his hand. A hologram appeared and listed off their names from first to twentieth place. Izuku stared for a second, before breaking out in a grin, when he saw his name sitting just above Bakugo’s. The fact that Bakugo had taken fourth place meant that Izuku was third! He could practically hear Bakugo’s teeth grinding as he saw their placements. That was going to light a fire under his rival for sure. Reading through the whole list Izuku tried to match names to faces so he could start identifying his classmates.

“Oh no….” The invisible girl of their class muttered brokenly and the other girls moved to comfort her.

“Also, I lied about expelling the person in last place.” Aizawa informed them with a wave of his hand. “It was a logical ruse to make you all try your hardest.”

“What?!” The majority of the class exclaimed at the news.

“That being said,” Aizawa started as he looked at the invisible girl. “Hagakure, you have potential, but I’d best see you in the gym and on the track to increase your physical results. A Hero can’t just coast by on their Quirk. A real Hero works to improve themselves so that they can assist with as many situations and Disasters as possible. You can have a bright future, but only if you work at it!”

“Yes, sir!” Toru exclaimed and everybody got the impression the invisible girl was saluting.

“Anyway, your papers for the school and the beginning of the semester are on your desks. Make sure you pick them up and read them by tomorrow. Dismissed.” Aizawa informed his class before turning and walking away. The class let out a collective sigh of relief as the all began to chat while walking towards the locker rooms.

“So cutie, your pretty interesting~” Kayama Nemuri, if Izuku had read the list correctly, commented with a purr making the verdette blink before his cheeks reddened.

“Totally, your Quirk is super cool~” Utsushimi Camie mentioned as she sidled up to his other side. Izuku’s blush rapidly spread from his cheeks to his whole face.

“O-oh, um, th-thank you.” Izuku stuttered out as both voluptuous teens walked close to him on either side. Nemuri, Camie, and Momo were clearly holding the position of ‘Bustiest’ in their class quite easily. Though Izuku wouldn’t be able to ‘compare’ the three from sheer embarrassment; plus he was raised better than that!

“Midoriya seems quite flustered.” Tokoyami commented watching the verdette react to having the two pretty girls so close to him.

“That’s the easiest weakness to exploit on the nerd.” Bakugo scoffed. “He gets nervous around girls normally. Forward girls like those two will practically short-circuit him every time.”

“He’s so lucky.” Kaminari mumbled. “He’s already so popular with the girls.”

“So, what’s Quirk called Midoriya~” Nemuri asked with the suggestive purr in her tone. Camie leaned closer, almost pressing her bust against Izuku's arm in the process.

“Ooh, I totes wanna know too!” Camie smiled at Izuku.

“Um, it-it’s called Cloud Smoke.” Izuku answered with his face still red, though he was starting to calm a little bit when the topic shifted to Quirks. “It’s an Emitter Type and lets me produce, manipulate, and reabsorb the cloud-like smoke you saw earlier.”

“Cloud Smoke?” Camie tilted her head cutely, Izuku couldn’t help but get flustered when such a pretty girl was so close and had such a cute look on her face. “So is it, like, clouds or smoke?”

“Well they’re made up of a combination of water vapor like clouds and particulates like smoke. So it was decided to call it Cloud Smoke when it manifested. I can also change their properties and stand or ride on the cloud, like you saw during the tests.” Izuku got more comfortable with the conversation as it became about a subject he could focus on completely.

“That sounds like a really versatile Quirk, Midoriya.” Nemuri smiled at the, obviously, shy teen. She’d already found a fun boy, how lucky!

“That’s wicked, Midoriya, also you’re like, super-hot so I’m crazy psyched to be in the same class as you!” Camie smiled at him. Izuku’s face went straight back to bright red.

“O-oh, I-I…um, w-well, th-thanks?” Izuku stuttered and stumbled over his words.

“Oh my~” Nemuri giggled. “I think you broke him Camie-chan!” The long haired girl mused. She was going to have so much fun with these two, she could already tell!

“Really?” Camie asked as she looked at Izuku’s red face. “Sorry fam, didn’t mean to, like, fluster you or anything. My b, my b.” The fawn haired girl giggled.

“It-it’s fine.” Izuku exhaled deeply as he got himself back together.

“So~ could you like, maybe give me a ride?” Camie asked Izuku and the boy blinked for a second in confusion.

“So bold, Camie-chan~” Nemuri giggled leaning closer to Izuku. “You shouldn’t ask that so soon after meeting~” Izuku’s head was now emitting steam, though none of the rest of the class could tell if it was from his Quirk or not.

“Totes not what I meant, Nemuri-chan!” Camie stuck her tongue out at the tease and, honestly, probably her new best friend! “I just think it’d be wicked cool to ride a cloud y’know?”

“Ooh~ that would be fun; wouldn’t it?” Nemuri placed her index finger on her cheek as she tilted her head. “Room for one more with you, Midoriya?” Izuku’s head was most definitely producing steam, not related to his Quirk, now with both beautiful girls so close to him.

“You dumb nerd, just make your stupid cloud and get them to the locker room!” Bakugo snapped at Izuku. “I’m tired of hearing this flirty bullshit!”

“Right, ok!” Izuku snapped out of his fluster at the loud voice of his rival/friend. A large cloud formed from his hands and he stepped onto it. With a slightly shaky hand he offered Camie a hand up onto the cloud. The fawn haired girl smiled as he took his hand and stepped up on the large cloud.

“Whoa…this is fresh yo!” Camie smiled as Izuku offered his hand to Nemuri and helped her up on the cloud as well.

“Oh wow, so this is what it feels like?” Nemuri grinned as she stood on the cloud. “It’s like a floor made of pillows!”

“Hold on, I’m going to move the cloud now.” Izuku alerted the two girls. He didn’t expect both girls to grab onto one of his arms each and ‘hold on’ to him! “I-I, um, ar-are you s-sure you…?” The verdette didn’t get to finish his stuttered question before Bakugo yelled at him again.

“Go already!” Bakugo roared and Izuku, Nemuri and Camie quickly flew off towards the locker rooms at a speed that would match a full sprint.

“Wheeee!” Camie cheered as she held onto Izuku with one arm and raised her other one into the air.

“Hahahaha!” Nemuri laughed at the wind blowing through her hair as she kept both of her arms wrapped around Izuku’s left arm. All too soon, for the girls anyway, the ride was over as they landed at the entrance to the school and the locker rooms just beyond the doors.

“That was like, super lit, Izuku!” Camie smiled at the verdette as she let go of his right arm. “We should totes do it again sometime!”

“I agree!” Nemuri giggled as she let go of Izuku’s left arm. “The three of us should do ‘things’ together more often.” She teased and Izuku practically locked up at the suggestive tone in the blue eyed girl’s tone.

“I-I we should get changed!” Izuku, flustered, practically ran into the boy’s locker room. Both girls looked at each other before bursting into giggles. Oh yes, they were definitely BFF’s now! The two teens entered the girl’s locker room and were joined by the rest of the girls a few minutes later.

-Boys Locker Room-

Izuku was already partially changed when the rest of the boys entered the locker room. They all went to their lockers and started changing back into their uniforms. Izuku had just finished putting on his uniform jacket when Kaminari spoke up.

“I totally misjudged you earlier Midoriya. You’re a pretty smooth operator to already have two of the hotties in our class all over you!” Kaminari congratulated with only a hint of jealously in his tone.

“He’s got a good bro helping out with the girls.” Kirishima spoke up with a grin. “Bakugo’s got his back as wingman!”

“Like hell I do!” Bakugo snapped back. “Damn nerd freezes up around forward girls like that; he’s a total pushover!”

“Sorry, Kacchan.” Izuku apologized as he did his tie up.

“Don’t apologize, get better!” Bakugo yelled back.

“I’ll do my best?” Izuku replied.

“Was that a question or a statement?” Sato asked the room at large.

“Yes.” Shoji nodded.

-Girl’s Locker Room-

“Totally didn’t expect this the first day, am I right?” Camie asked the other girls as they all changed back into their school uniforms.

“Not a bit!” Mina replied with a smile.

“It was unexpected.” Momo admitted.

“It ended well.” Nemuri grinned as she winked at the other girls.

“I wonder if everything we missed in Orientation is covered in the papers Aizawa told us to pick up and read.” Ochako wondered.

“I’m still curious about Midoriya-chan’s Quirk to be honest.” Tsuyu commented with a cute croak at the end.

“Right? It’s super cool!” Toru exclaimed.

“I’ve heard of a few like it before, looking on the internet.” Kyouka mentioned as she slipped on her jacket. “But nothing that’s exactly like it, especially not one that the user and other people can ride on.”

“I think it’s interesting.” Ochako replied, she still remembered the large cloud cover that had protected multiple examinees from falling debris when the Zero Pointer was unleashed during the Entrance Exam.

“Speaking of Izuku, we have some hot guys in our class!” Camie laughed with Mina and Nemuri joining her. Momo, Kyouka, and Ochako blushed at the topic while Toru giggled and Tsuyu looked mildly interested.

“Right? We know who you’re looking at, right Camie-chan?” Mina questioned with a grin. The fawn-haired girl smiled teasingly as she looked at the other girls.

“Like I said, Izuku’s a snack and a half!” Camie tapped her full, pouty lips with the tip of her index finger. “I wouldn’t mind getting his number.”

“C-Camie-san! Is-Isn’t that a b-bit fast?” Ochako stuttered out with red cheeks.

“It does seem rather…forward.” Momo blushed as she finished with her tie.

“Really?” Nemuri questioned with a grin. “I think it’s perfect! We can stake a claim together~” Camie giggled as she and Nemuri winked at each other.

“I think you should go for it!” Mina cheered with a bright smile.

“Go get him, Camie-chan, Nemuri-chan!” Toru giggled as she put on her shoes.

“Can we please talk about something else?” Kyouka requested as she closed the locker and revealed her blushing face. “Like anything else!”

“We should be hurrying. We need to get our papers and stuff from class still.” Tsuyu nodded as she headed for the door, already dressed in her uniform.

“What? No way! I wanna keep talking about boys and romance!” Mina playfully whined as she followed after the frog-like girl.

“I’m sure there will be time for such things later.” Momo spoke as the girls exited the locker room together. “For now we should focus on the work we have ahead of us.”

“Alright, we’ll save it for ‘Girl Talk’ later!” Mina smiled widely.

“I’m in!” Toru exclaimed as she fell into step with Mina.

“Count me in too, always fun to dish about cute guys!” Camie grinned as the girls walked back towards their class room.

“You won’t be able to leave me out!” Nemuri laughed as she walked next to her new BFF.

“I’m not well versed in such things.” Momo admitted with her cheeks pink.

“We’ll get you there, Yaomomo!” Mina grinned at the ravenette.

“Yaomomo?” Momo questioned as she raised her hands to her cheeks cutely.

“This is going to be a regular thing isn’t it?” Kyouka sighed as she walked beside the taller girl.

“It seems like it.” Ochako rubbed the back of her head, mildly embarrassed about the boy talk.

“This is, like, going to be a fun year! I’m already psyched!” Camie smiled as the girls made it to the classroom to collect their stuff.

-Hallway to the Teacher’s Lounge-

Aizawa was walking back towards the teacher’s lounge when he ran into Present Mic just as he opened the door. The underground Hero wasn’t surprised though. He’d noticed his blonde friend looking in on the tests. It was one of the few times Mic was ever quiet, so Aizawa already knew what the man was going to say. But he started the conversation anyway.

“Something you need Mic?” Aizawa questioned his fellow teacher.

“It was kind of like watching Oboro again, huh?” Present Mic replied his tone subdued and not anything like his usually loud and boisterous tone.

“There are some similarities.” Aizawa admitted as he entered the lounge and Mic closed the door behind them. “Midoriya’s Quirk and his personality bring back some memories.”

“Yeah….” Mic nodded as the two sat at the large table beside each other. “Just remember, you can’t play favorites just because you have a soft spot for one of your students.”

“If anyone is likely to play favorites between us it’s you.” Aizawa deadpanned and Mic chuckled lightly at the retort.

“We’ll have to do everything we can to make one hell of a Hero outta Midoriya, for his sake and for Oboro, spiritually speaking.” Mic sighed with a small smile. “I never thought I’d get the chance to teach someone so similar. I feel like I’ve got to make the most out of it, you know?”

“We can’t play favorites Mic.” Aizawa shook his head. “But we can do everything in our power to put forth challenges that’ll force him to grow and become a Hero that would even impress Oboro.”

“Damn right.” Mic chuckled as the two friends sat in fond remembrance of their old friend.

-Eleven Years Ago ~ Izuku Age Four-

“Kacchan!” Izuku shouted in worry as his friend fell from the slippery log the boys were using to cross the small ravine in the forest. The water in the stream below was shallow and Izuku could see the rocks sticking out of it. If Kacchan fell on them he could get seriously hurt! Izuku’s hands, which were fruitlessly stretching outwards to his falling friend, suddenly emitted a thick smoke that flew quickly to the falling ash blonde. The smoke formed a large cloud under Bakugo and the boy fell onto it with barely a sound.

“What the heck?” The boy with extendable fingers questioned as he looked between Izuku and Bakugo.

“Did Izuku just get his Quirk?” Tsubasa, the boy with wings, questioned.

“I think I did…” Izuku muttered before his attention was directed back at Bakugo. “Kacchan are you ok?”

“I’m fine, what’s this cloud thing?” Bakugo asked as he sat up on the cloud and looked around.

“It’s my Quirk, Kacchan!” Izuku smiled at his friend. “I finally got my Quirk!”

“Huh, well it sure took you long enough!” Bakugo laughed as he jumped up and down on the cloud.

“I’m sure Bakugo would have been fine either way.” The extendable fingers boy commented and Tsubasa agreed.

“But he could have gotten hurt.” Izuku mentioned. “It’s better to help than to sit back and watch, right? Isn’t that what Heroes do?” He questioned the other two boys as he pulled the cloud back up to the log with Bakugo standing on it.

“Heck yeah it is!” Bakugo stated as he stepped back onto the log. “I didn’t see you two trying to help either!” The ash blonde glared at Tsubasa and the other boy.

“Sorry, Bakugo.” Tsubasa and the other boy apologized.

“Whatever.” Bakugo shrugged it off. “Forward march! We’ve got to see what Izuku’s Quirk can do now that he has it!”

“Yeah!” Izuku cheered as the four boys made their way off the log and into the woods a bit further.

-That Evening-

“Mommy! Look, look, I got my Quirk!” Izuku cheered as he showed his mother the floating little cloud he’d made between his hands.

“Oh Izuku, that’s wonderful!” Midoriya Inko beamed at her baby boy as she pulled him into a hug. She had been getting worried that Izuku was the only one in his class that hadn’t manifested a Quirk yet. But those doubts and fears had been completely put to rest by what her son was showing her.

“I even saved Kacchan from falling earlier with it!” Izuku smiled brightly at his mother.

“You’ve only just manifested your Quirk and you’ve already saved someone! You’re Mommy’s little Hero already!” Inko cooed to her little boy as she hugged him warmly. “We’ll get your Quirk registered as soon as we can get an appointment, okay?” Izuku nodded happily as he sat next to his mother and showed her what he could do with his Quirk so far.

-Quirk Registration Facility-

“Hmm, the cloud is made up of water vapor and particulates? So it’s sort of like a cloud and sort of like smoke.” The Official doing Izuku’s registration mentioned. “He can clearly alter the properties of his smoke or clouds, from his tests he’ll probably be able to produce more as he practices with his Quirk and as he gets older.”

“Can I be a Hero?” Izuku questioned and the man grinned down at the boy.

“Of course you can, Izuku-kun!” The Official smiled at the young boy. “You have a really versatile Quirk, so I’m sure you’ll be a great Hero when you grow up!” Izuku beamed happily at the man before he hugged his mother. Inko smiled softly at her son as she hugged him back. Her little baby boy was going to get to follow his dream.

“What should we call his Quirk?” Inko questioned the Official.

“As it seems to have properties of both Smoke and Clouds, why not something simple like Cloud Smoke?” The Official suggested.

“What do you think, Izuku?” Inko asked her son. “Does that sound like a good name to you?”

“I like it!” Izuku nodded rapidly and both adults chuckled at his enthusiasm.

“Alright, just give me a few minutes to fill in the Quirk Registry.” The Official chuckled as he turned to his computer and began typing. The mother and son left several minutes later with plans for Katsudon for dinner and a copy of Izuku’s new Registry.

-Registry-

Name: Midoriya Izuku

Quirk: Cloud Smoke

Type: Emitter

-Registry-

Izuku would go on through the next several years practicing with his Quirk. Kacchan always wanted to practice with him as the blonde’s Explosion Quirk could be used on Izuku’s clouds without having to worry about hurting anybody. The two friends/rivals would often have matches against each other. Unfortunately for Bakugo this usually led to him being captured by Izuku’s smoke and restrained by the suddenly dense vapor. Bakugo would always grumble about it for a bit, then the ash blonde would immediately challenge Izuku again and try to out speed the verdette’s control. Their record of wins and losses to each other would always remain fairly constant; though more often than not Izuku was ahead by one or two wins.

“Geez, Izuku, your Quirk is going to put other Heroes out of work.” Bakugo commented one day after their practice together.

“Really? Why do you think that?” Izuku questioned his friend.

“If you can capture me with your Quirk then no weak Villain has a chance!” Bakugo puffed up in pride of his own growing strength. “You’ll be like the ultimate Capture Hero or something.”

“A Capture Hero, huh?” Izuku mused as he thought over the idea. “That doesn’t sound too bad! I’ll hunt down Villains and save people by capturing them all!”

“Hmm, Ryōshi means ‘Hunter’, maybe that could be your Hero name?”

“Capture Hero: Ryōshi…it doesn’t sound too bad.” Izuku mused as he thought about the name.

“Of course it doesn’t, I came up with it!” Bakugo smirked and Izuku laughed at his friend. This quickly set Bakugo off and the two were having another match in seconds!

-End Chapter-

Well, Izuku’s got himself a pretty damn versatile Quirk! Not to mention the attention of two lovely ladies! One of which is indeed a de-aged Midnight, Kayama Nemuri! No Mineta this time! How powerful is Izuku’s Quirk? You’ll see if this Bunny becomes a Story itself! More importantly, did you enjoy the Chapter? Did you like the beginnings of the Pairing? Do you want to see more?

As for confirmation this Quirk is based on Smoker from One Piece and his Moku Moku no Mi! I crossed those abilities with Oboro Shirakumo’s Cloud Quirk from the Vigilantes spin-off and boom! New Quirk for Izuku!

And yes, he did develop the cloud riding because of Dragon Ball! What Japanese kid that grew up with that show hasn’t wanted to ride a Flying Nimbus?

Until I get your reviews, later!

John Balman

So will he develop it to the point of becoming cloud smoke like smoker?

Kairomaru

If this becomes a full story then the 'Logia' ability is what I have in mind for the 'Quirk Awakening'.

Thomas E Nellis

Lol that was pretty awesome. I loved it. Too many good plot bunnies lol.

Kairomaru

Glad you liked it! Yeah, tell me about too many Bunnies! It's hard to write the updates sometimes with all the Bunnies hopping around my head all of the time!

Ant Franklin

Kai this is another one that should be made into a full series with the missing Oboro being Izuku’s father. As well as Yamada and Aizawa finding out that Ino is their old school friend who was dating Obero before he disappeared
