Sorry to have to do this, my friends and fans, but the update I was planning to get out today is going to have to be delayed by at least one day.

Either I'm just getting old or sitting in this desk chair with zero lumbar support for so long while writing has finally caught up with me.

I've been dealing with excruciating back pain for just over two days now and it's nearly debilitating. It hurts to stand, it hurts to walk, it hurts to sit, and it hurts to lay down unless I'm in just the perfect position. Heat from my heating pad helps after several hours, and pain medication barely does anything.

I'm hopeful that I won't have to go to the doctor for this and that it'll be fixed after today (I have a highly rated lumbar support pillow coming in today), but I'll do my best to keep you all updated.

I hope you'll all enjoy the update once I'm able to post it!

If you still have back pain, a warm bath might help or someone massage your back with oil to warm up your muscles. What also might help is grab a bar above your head and hang on it with your feet off the ground. It decompresses your back. If it comes from sitting too long in your chair because of desk work, take after every hour a small break to grab a drink, snack just to be on the move before resuming work. Maybe yoga might help. Oh, what might help is swimming, its less demanding on the body but keep you in good shape. I'll wish you a speedy recovery!!
