You finally got to the incident of Eagles being stolen that you thought the first episode of HBO's Rome was depicting ;P I haven't watched Baz history before, I might sub to them, I love "rectangles moving on a map" history channels xD# The Roman army only got it's Eagles in ~100 BC so it's interesting they'd become so culturally important a century later; then again a lot of US military traditions are about that old so it's not that surprising. There is no historical evidence to suggest that Augustus Caesar was bald in old age; according to some accounts surviving from the time, Augustus carefully arranged his hair shortly before dying, so I doubt he was bald. This episode ends in 14 AD - Augustus exiled his daughter in 2 BC so Jesus would've been born about the time this episode starts.
