I know it’s hard to tell in animation a lot of times, but the guy that Fuu talked to before she got into the boat, then talked to Mugen and Jin saying he had to kill them was the same one from the beginning of the episode (the old assassin). I think these final episodes are my favorites of the series (though I do like all of the 2 parters), but they’re a bit too intense to rewatch that often.
